Gu Shi waved his hand, and the assistant who had stopped him went out, thoughtfully closing the door behind him.

He simply unbuttoned his shirt cuffs, relaxed a bit, and sat down in the chair to ask Wang Wu.
"What's wrong? How dare you ask that! We people from Pear Blossom Village are united wherever we go, but here you've actually arrested someone!"
Wang Wu was somewhat incoherent. One of the people arrested was his uncle, whom he had encouraged to come out.
He never expected things to turn out this way; he just doesn't know how to explain it when he gets home.
Where did I go wrong?
"Can't you be a little more generous and give them a chance? We're all from the same village, how can you act like this!"
Gu Shi sneered, "Back when I was still in the village, did you think I was from Pear Blossom Village?"
"When we need each other, we're all from the same village; when we don't, I'm a jinx?"
Wang Wu stood there dumbfounded, unsure how to respond.
Gu Shi stood up and continued, "Or are you so generous that you're willing to give up your position for your uncle?"
Let him have it? How could he possibly let him have it? Upon hearing this, Wang Wu's arrogance vanished.
“Xiao Gu… no, Boss Gu, I don’t mean to blame you, I just thought we could be a little gentler in the future.”
"If Boss Gu doesn't take my suggestion, that's fine too, that's fine!"
Wang Wu suddenly changed his tune again.
Perhaps he realized that he was still working under someone else's command!
