Lin Qingyu quickly ran into the kitchen, glanced at the minced meat and eggplant on the stove, which she had just instructed Xiao Li to stir-fry.
He put a plate on it, then ladled out a bowl of vegetable soup, added some braised pork to the pot, along with a bowl of rice, and took it out to find Gu Shi.
"We've been waiting so long, let's eat first, we can clean up later!"
Gu Shi had just finished cleaning up the table, wiping it, and washing his hands when he went to have dinner with Lin Qingyu.
"The matter has been resolved."
As soon as he put the bowl down, Gu Shi told her directly that the incident that happened yesterday had been resolved.
"So fast! I didn't think I'd lose anything, so I didn't tell you, afraid you'd worry!"
Gu Shi glanced at her and said seriously, "I'm your man, who else should I worry about if not you?"
Lin Qingyu blushed again. "Alright, alright, I know. Go eat your food!"
Lin Qingyu ate a few bites, then saw Lin Weidong still dismantling the stage, so she put down her chopsticks and went over.
"Don't clean up yet, let's go to the kitchen for dinner! I'll keep an eye on things here, and I'll call you if I need anything."
Lin Weidong wanted to finish his work before eating, but Lin Qingyu firmly told him to go into the kitchen, so he started eating.
There were two tables of guests left in the end, and since they had all been drinking, the meal was quite slow.
After Gu Shi recounted the incident, there was no further explanation. He didn't say how it was resolved or what happened afterward.
He just looked at Lin Qingyu and said, "Hire two more people. You're working too hard like this. Otherwise, you shouldn't open the business."
Knowing his temper, Lin Qingyu didn't argue further and readily agreed.
