Chapter 13 A Bountiful Harvest

Given this situation, is it still possible to leave?

Even if they wanted to leave, this wild boar probably wouldn't let them go.

Ye Beiping pulled Wu Di to squat down in the nearby haystack and began to think about how to deal with the wild boar.

"Beiping, what are you doing? The monkeys are in danger. Let's hide and watch..."

"Shut up."

Ye Beiping scolded Wu Di, frowning as he said, "Can't you see I'm trying to figure something out?"

“You…” Wu Di met Ye Beiping’s terrifying gaze and suddenly shut his mouth.

Five minutes later, Hou Baolin could no longer hold on, and his running speed slowed down.

Especially in the mountains and forests, he had to avoid obstacles every time, but the wild boars would just charge around recklessly, which put Hou Baolin at a great disadvantage.

"Beiping, are you done yet? I... I can't run anymore."

"Wait a minute." Ye Beiping shouted, then suddenly his eyes lit up and he thought of a way. He called to Wu Di, "Fatty, I'll go help the monkey. You hurry up and dig a hole."

"Dig a hole?" Wu Di asked, bewildered. His lips twitched. "You're not going to dig a hole and bury yourself, are you?"

"I'll tell you to dig, dig as big as you can. I have to bring this wild boar back today."

Ye Beiping looked very serious, and Wu Di had no choice but to do as Ye Beiping said.

But when Ye Beiping rushed out with his gun, Wu Di was in a dilemma.

"Beiping, am I supposed to dig with my hands? I... give me a hoe too."

Upon hearing this, Ye Beiping frowned and casually tossed the axe tucked at his waist to Wu Di: "Figure it out yourself."

Forehead......

Holding the axe, Wu Di looked bitter. What was he going to do?

Using an axe to dig a hole? That's unheard of. Could it even be dug?

At this moment, Ye Beiping climbed up a rather thick tree and took out a flashlight, aiming it at the wild boar.

The wild boar froze instantly in the intense light.

"Monkey, go help Fatty, I'll hold it off."

"Okay...okay." Hou Baolin was now out of breath, almost completely exhausted.

The wild boar realized what was happening and tried to chase after Hou Baolin, but Ye Beiping aimed directly at the boar's head and fired a shot.

Bang!

A gunpowder-laden bullet, sparking as it flew, pierced the wild boar's head.

Pfft!

The wild boar suddenly swayed and collapsed to the ground.

Ye Beiping wasn't going to be fooled. Wild boars weren't so easily defeated, so he decided to observe them first.

Sure enough, within two minutes, the wild boar stumbled and stood up again.

At this moment, it raised its enormous pig head, looked at Ye Beiping, and roared.

The boar, oblivious to the commotion, charged straight into the tree where Ye Beiping was standing, repeatedly ramming its sturdy body against the trunk.

Splash!

Splash!

Countless green leaves fell, and Ye Beiping gripped the tree trunk tightly, afraid of being shaken off.

After ramming the tree for more than ten minutes, the wild boar seemed to realize that this was not a solution and began to dig around the tree.

"Holy crap, is this pig some kind of genius? Is it trying to uproot the tree? This isn't written in textbooks, pigs have this kind of brain." Ye Beiping stared wide-eyed as the pig's two front hooves and snout kept nudging and prodding.

I was extremely anxious.

He roared, "Monkey, Fatty, are you done yet? This pig has become a demon!"

"Wait." Hou Baolin's voice came from afar, and he was still panting.

Ye Beiping pursed his lips. He could tell that Hou Baolin and Wu Di were also doing their best. Now they could only wait and see whether the wild boar dug faster or Hou Baolin and Wu Di moved faster.

Another ten minutes passed, and a large pit more than a meter deep was dug out under the tree. The wild boar was still expanding the area.

Anxious, Ye Beiping could only pull back the bolt and aim at the wild boar.

Bang!

The shot hit the wild boar squarely in the back.

The wild boar, in pain, roared and abandoned digging a hole, choosing instead to ram into a tree.

"Damn it." Ye Beiping was caught off guard and frantically grabbed the tree trunk, almost getting knocked down.

But to my disappointment, the gun in my hand suddenly fell to the ground.

"Damn it."

Ye Beiping cursed and hugged the tree trunk tightly: "I'm not going home until I've dealt with you today."

Looking at his empty hands, Ye Beiping could only take out the gun from his other shoulder.

Bang!

Another shot hit the wild boar in the head.

Waaaaah!

The wild boar made a sound that was neither crying nor sobbing, shook its head, and began to anxiously circle around the tree trunk.

Just as Ye Beiping was about to fire, Hou Baolin's voice came from afar: "Beiping, it's done."

"Okay." Ye Beiping agreed. He originally wanted to fire another shot, but then thought better of it and put the gun away. He said to Hou Baolin, "Come over here and lure the wild boar away. I can't get down."

"oh."

Hou Baolin's weak reply revealed that he was truly afraid.

Under the light of Ye Beiping's flashlight, Hou Baolin cautiously approached.

As soon as he was exposed to the wild boar's sight, he immediately jumped up, turned around and ran away.

The enraged wild boar, seemingly having no one to vent its anger on, chased after Hou Baolin, squealing as it did so.

Hoo hoo!

"Over here, over here." Wu Di immediately waved to Hou Baolin and pointed to the pit they had dug.

Ye Beiping also climbed down from the tree at this moment, picked up the fallen gun, and immediately chased after them to check the situation.

Thump!

When Ye Beiping caught up, he heard the sound of a heavy object falling.

"They've fallen into the trap!" Ye Beiping was overjoyed and ran over to see Wu Di and Hou Baolin looking into the trap. "So, did they get in?"
