Chapter 139 Jiang Hai's Heart-Pounding Trembling

Cough cough!

Jiang Hai realized he had been a bit out of line, so he coughed twice to cover his embarrassment and said softly, "Director Wei, I'm a little tired today. Let's talk about this tomorrow."

Before Wei Daming could say anything, he continued, "We have a long time to discuss cooperation. Such a big deal can't be settled in a day, can it?"

"Yes, yes, yes."

Since the other party had said that, Wei Daming naturally wouldn't insist on continuing the talks.

Sensing the obvious intention to ask him to leave, Wei Daming stood up with an apologetic smile and walked towards the door, not forgetting to help Jiang Guan close the door: "Mr. Jiang, we are from the First Leather Shoe Factory. We hope you can consider us."

"Our factory manager and I will be ready to welcome Mr. Jiang at any time."

Click!

After saying these last words, Wei Daming gently closed the door.

Jiang Hai let out a long sigh, slumped into a chair, looked out the window, and muttered, "This job is really not that simple."

A few minutes later.

Wei Daming arrived at the lobby with a puzzled look on his face. Two sales staff from the First Leather Shoe Factory jogged over from the rest area.

"Director Wei, how did the talks go?"

"Yes, Director Wei, didn't you secure this order immediately after you took charge?"

The First Leather Shoe Factory was a new leather shoe factory in Wencheng, and it was established with special approval from higher authorities, so Wei Daming, the sales director, was under a lot of pressure.

Putting aside the lack of distribution channels and the need to expand them, the sheer volume of products piling up in the factory is also extremely difficult to manage.

If we could secure this order for 5,000 pairs of leather shoes and establish a long-term partnership, regardless of the commission, it would solve a huge problem for the First Leather Shoe Factory.

In fact, the shoe factories in Wencheng are already vaguely aware that leather shoes are not selling as well as before. Any business owner in the industry will shake their head and look at the shoes with disdain when they hear they come from a Wencheng shoe factory.

Apart from some state-owned shopping malls, that was also to meet their performance targets; otherwise, they certainly wouldn't want Wencheng's leather shoes.

There are a lot of after-sales problems. At least 20-30% of the leather shoes sold will have customers come back to ask about the quality, and some even make a big fuss about it.

In this day and age, anyone who can afford to wear leather shoes every day is no ordinary person. Even if they aren't of high social standing, they always have connections. If it weren't for state-owned department stores, they probably would have gone out of business long ago.

Upon hearing this, Wei Daming's expression gradually returned to normal, but he still said somewhat coldly as he walked, "Let's go back to the factory first."

The two sales colleagues exchanged a puzzled look, but quickly followed Wei Daming.

The three of them each took a bicycle and rode towards the Wencheng No. 1 Leather Shoe Factory.

In a normal large state-owned factory, not to mention the factory director being provided with a car, even the head of the sales department would be provided with a car. However, the First Leather Shoe Factory was just a new factory, so they couldn't even think about being provided with a car.

To reach the point of having a car provided, it would be possible for the First Shoe Factory to become almost the largest leather factory in the entire city of Vancouver.

Just as they were leaving, three or four shoe factories came to Jiang Hai's door looking for him.

However, they all said they were tired and needed to rest, and only left their contact information.

Jiang Hai was very meticulous in his work, and he wrote down all the contact information and questions raised by the other party, planning to give them to Ye Beiping when he met him in the evening.

The sun is setting.

Time flies, and Jiang Hai didn't even realize how much time had passed before it was already evening.

He glanced at the direction of the setting sun, then, somewhat wearily, tidied up the contact information he had compiled and got up to go to the place they had agreed to meet for dinner.

Just as he left the state-run hotel, Li Peiqiang, the sales director of Jiangnan Leather Factory, arrived.

I asked the front desk for some information.

"Hello, I heard that a Mr. Jiang lives here, is that right?" Li Peiqiang had a little sweat on his forehead and was slightly out of breath when he spoke.

He inquired around, made some promises of benefits, and then asked other leather factories about this state-owned hotel.

Hearing that several companies had already approached him, Li Peiqiang became even more anxious.

At that moment, he didn't even consider the veracity of the news, because so many manufacturers had come to him; they weren't stupid.

Instead, they were single-mindedly focused on securing this order.

Unexpectedly, the receptionist smiled slightly and said, "Hello, it seems Mr. Jiang just went out."

"What? You've already left?" Li Peiqiang was filled with regret, wondering why he hadn't been quicker.

Then I wondered if Mr. Jiang might be invited out to dinner by someone from another factory. What would happen to Jiangnan Leather Factory if the deal fell through?

"Do you know which direction he went?" Li Peiqiang asked anxiously.

The waiter thought for a moment and pointed in a direction.

"Thanks."

Without saying a word, Li Peiqiang turned around and ran towards where the bicycles were parked. He straddled his old bicycle and pedaled furiously, speeding off in the direction the waiter pointed.

The two receptionists at the state-run hotel exchanged a glance, their minds filled with questions:

"Who is this Mr. Jiang? Why are so many people looking for him?"

"I don't know, but I know several people who came to see him today. One of them is the sales director of the newly opened No. 1 Leather Shoe Factory in Wencheng, and the one who just came out is the sales director of the Jiangnan Leather Factory in Wencheng. I guess he's some big boss."

...

After the two waiters chatted for a while, they were surprised to find that these were all important figures in the state-owned factory, people that ordinary people would never see.

But now that they've been coming to Jiang Hai one after another, the two of them assume that the other must be some important person.
