A dozen minutes later, the two finally got into a taxi.
Thankfully it's not summer, otherwise I could be drenched in sweat in just a few minutes on the roadside.
Cao Guoqing didn't say much while in the car.
Ten minutes later, the taxi arrived at a beautiful place, surrounded by lush greenery.
The taxi stopped at a police post.
Cao Guoqing paid the fare with a slight pang of regret and then got out of the car: "Mr. Ye, we've arrived."
"Okay." Ye Beiping got out of the car and saw two men carrying weapons walking out of the guard post.
Upon meeting Cao Guoqing, the two exchanged a salute.
After a brief exchange, Cao Guoqing gestured for Ye Beiping to go inside.
The houses along the way were all two-story buildings.
It must be said that in this day and age, a two-story building with such greenery is definitely not a place that ordinary people can live in.
Even Jin Aiguo's residence in his previous town couldn't compare.
After passing countless houses, Cao Guoqing stopped in front of a small building.
Knock knock knock!
With two light knocks, the door opened.
A middle-aged man with a square face, around forty years old, opened the door. Ye Beiping recognized him immediately.
But I can't immediately recall where I've seen this person before.
The square-faced middle-aged man smiled when he saw Ye Beiping: "You've come."

This expression made Ye Beiping pause slightly.

Soon, Cao Guoqing headed towards the backyard of the house.
Only Ye Beiping and the square-faced middle-aged man remained in the living room.
The square-faced middle-aged man first made Ye Beiping a cup of tea, then sat down on the sofa opposite him and began to introduce himself: "Perhaps you are a little unfamiliar with me, that's alright, let me introduce myself first. "Not at all, not at all." Ye Beiping was flattered by these words, not expecting that the other party had already begun to pay attention to him.
Or perhaps they had met long ago.
Even the certificates I had were issued by the other party, and I felt somewhat ashamed for not knowing this.

Perhaps to others, these two bottles of Moutai are indeed a valuable gift, but for someone of his stature, what kind of liquor hasn't he drunk?
People don't give gifts like this anymore; they prefer things that offer better value for money.
However, Jin Hai didn't stand on ceremony when Ye Beiping gave it to him. He glanced at it and then looked away, saying, "I won't accept this gift from you, but I can give it to my old man on your behalf."
