A tractor drove through a harvested cornfield, startling a flock of sparrows.
In the distance, several villagers working in the fields straightened up and stared in astonishment at the steel monster.

An old man squinted and asked his companion.
"It looks like... a tractor?"
His companion answered uncertainly, forgetting to put down the hoe in his hand.
As the tractor approached the village entrance, a group of children ran over at the sound, jumping and shouting like little tails, "Tie Niu is here! Tie Niu is here!"
Su Jianjun deliberately slowed down so that the children could keep up.
He honked the horn, which startled several timid children who screamed and ran away, but couldn't help looking back out of curiosity.
