Chapter 171 Dad, please save me, I don't want to die.

He paused.

"The sniper will take action immediately."

Su Jianguo nodded silently.

"dad..."

Su Mingqiang's voice trembled.

"How about...how about I go..."

"you go?"

Su Jianguo chuckled.

"With your cowardly attitude, your legs went weak before you even stepped inside."

He turned to Captain Zhang.

"When should we take action?"

"Now."

Team Leader Zhang glanced at his watch.

Then he waved his hand.

A group of police officers and armed police quickly boarded the vehicle.

Su Jianguo and Su Mingqiang were also taken to the car.

The vehicle sped along and stopped not far from Su Mingqiang.

A group of police officers and armed police officers jumped out of the vehicle and began to hide.

"It will take five minutes for the sniper to get into position, and it will also take time for the SWAT team to get around to the backyard. You two wait for my signal."

The night was as dark as ink.

The police car silently stopped at the corner, about 200 meters from Su Mingqiang's house.

Through the car window, Su Jianguo could see his low-rise house, with dim yellow light shining from the windows and the curtains drawn tightly.

"Sniper in position."

A calm report came through the walkie-talkie.

Team Leader Zhang pressed the communication button.

"Roger that. SWAT team?"

"The backyard is under control; we can storm it at any time."

Team Leader Zhang took a deep breath and turned to Su Jianguo and his son.

"Are you ready? Remember, try to buy time. If the situation becomes critical, run back immediately."

Su Jianguo straightened his clothes and nodded.

Su Mingqiang was so nervous that his whole body was trembling.

"action!"

With a command from Captain Zhang.

Su Jianguo straightened his back and strode towards the house.

Su Mingqiang followed closely behind.

The surroundings were eerily quiet.

Arriving at the gate, Su Jianguo took a deep breath and gently pushed open the slightly ajar gate.

The wooden door creaked shrilly, which was particularly jarring in the quiet night.

"who?"

Immediately from inside the room came Su Mingde's alert questioning.

Su Jianguo did not answer and walked steadily into the courtyard.

"It's me."

He responded in a deep voice, which was not loud but resounding.

There was a commotion inside the room, and then the curtains were suddenly pulled open a corner.

Su Mingde's distorted face appeared at the window, his eyes bulging out.

"dad?"

His voice was a mixture of shock, anger, and a kind of morbid joy.

Haha, you really came!

Su Jianguo stood still, his gaze calmly meeting his son's.

"I've arrived, and I've released the golden flower."

"Let her go?"

Su Mingde laughed nervously.

"Why should I? Do you know what kind of life I had in prison?"

His face suddenly contorted into a ferocious expression.

"It's all because of you! If you hadn't stood by and watched me die, how could I have..."

"Virtue!"

Su Mingqiang couldn't help but shout.

"Jin Hua is innocent! Take it out on me!"

"Shut up!"

Su Mingde shouted sternly, and the curtains were slammed shut.

A few seconds later, the door was kicked open, and he appeared in the doorway, grabbing Li Jinhua by the hair.

Li Jinhua's face was deathly pale, her hands covering her swollen belly, her eyes filled with fear.

Su Jianguo's heart sank.

The gleaming kitchen knife was pressed against Li Jinhua's neck, and the blade was already faintly stained with blood.

"Dad, you've finally agreed to see me?"

Su Mingde's voice carried a twisted laugh.

"You didn't expect that, did you? I got out of there so quickly!"

Seeing that his second son had gone mad, Su Jianguo immediately began to persuade him.

"Mingde, put down the knife. Let's talk this out."

"Speak properly?"

Su Mingde suddenly burst into hysterical laughter.

"Why didn't you speak politely when I was begging you to save me in prison?"

With a flick of his wrist, the blade slashed across Li Jinhua's neck, drawing blood. She gasped in surprise.

Su Mingqiang almost rushed forward.

"Mingde! Have you gone mad?"

"stop!"

Su Mingde shouted sharply, and the tip of the knife moved even closer.

"If she takes one more step, I'll send her and the bastard in her belly to meet the King of Hell!"

Su Jianguo reached out to stop his eldest son, his voice surprisingly calm.

"Mingde, what do you want? Money? I can give it to you."

"money?"

Su Mingde scoffed.

What use is money to me now?

His eyes suddenly became unfocused.

"I want you to taste what it's like to be abandoned... just like you abandoned me..."

At this critical moment, Su Jianguo keenly noticed the slight swaying of the curtains behind Su Mingde.

The SWAT team is in position.

He had to continue to keep his son's attention.

"I have never abandoned you."

Su Jianguo suddenly spoke, his voice filled with unprecedented exhaustion.

"You've gone astray on your own."

"fart!"

Su Mingde was furious, the tip of his knife trembling.

"If it weren't for you..."

"Sniper has locked onto the target."

Over the walkie-talkie, Captain Zhang's voice was taut and strained.

"But the angle was poor; the hostage was completely blocking the attacker's view."

Su Jianguo seemed to sense something, and he suddenly took a step forward.

"Mingde, look at me. Don't you hate me? Come on, come at me."

Su Mingde was stunned, the tip of his knife drooping slightly.

You think I wouldn't dare?

Su Jianguo calmly nodded, and then began to insult him.

"You just don't dare, because you're a piece of trash."

"waste?"
