The main room of Widow Liu's house was filled with smoke.
A dozen or so burly men sat around a square table playing cards, with bottles and cigarette butts scattered on the ground.
The door to the inner room was tightly closed, and the creaking of the bed and the sobbing cries of Widow Liu could be heard continuously.
"Boss seems to be in a good mood today!"
One of the kidnappers, missing a front tooth, grinned, revealing a mouthful of yellow teeth.
Shen Daqiang squatted in the corner, the cigarette in his hand already burned down to the filter.
He stared intently at the door to the inner room, his facial muscles twitching incessantly.

Scarface Liu walked out, pulling up his pants.
He was a man in his early forties, covered in menacing tattoos, with a scar on his left cheek running from the corner of his eye to the corner of his mouth, making his smile particularly ferocious.
"Cool!"
Scarface Liu wiped the sweat from his face, grabbed a half-bottle of liquor from the table, and gulped down a few mouthfuls.
He caught a glimpse of Shen Daqiang in the corner and grinned.
"You've got good taste, kid. This woman's got some flavor!"
Shen Daqiang kept his head down and didn't dare to say a word.
"What's wrong? Are you unhappy?"
Scarface Liu swaggered over and grabbed Shen Daqiang by the hair.

As he spoke, he pulled out a stack of IOUs from his pocket.

Shen Daqiang finally raised his head, his voice hoarse.
"Brother Liu, it was agreed before... that after the deal is done, 30% of the ransom..."
The main room fell silent instantly.
Scarface Liu's smile froze. He slowly loosened his grip on Shen Daqiang's hair and stared at him with a playful expression.
"What did you say?"
"Thirty percent of twenty thousand is six thousand..."
Shen Daqiang said, forcing himself to speak.
"I only want my share..."
Scarface Liu suddenly burst into laughter, his laughter exceptionally unrestrained.
He turned and spread his hands to his underlings.
"Did you hear that? This idiot's asking me for money!"
The laughter stopped abruptly, and he kicked Shen Daqiang to the ground.
"Who the hell do you think you are? I arrested him, I sent my men to collect the money, it's none of your business!"
Shen Daqiang's face turned deathly pale from the kick.
"But...but the information was provided by me...and Su Jianjun's location was also provided by me..."

A resounding slap.
Scarface Liu slapped Shen Daqiang across the face with the IOU.
"This hundred is a reward for you! Say one more word."
He leaned down and whispered in Shen Daqiang's ear.

Outside the house, Li Qiang quickly directed his teammates to surround it.
The two kidnappers who had come to collect the money hurriedly presented it to Scarface Liu.

He unzipped his backpack, and bundles of large denomination bills looked very tempting under the light.

Scarface Liu grabbed a wad of banknotes, took a deep breath, and squinted his eyes in ecstasy.

A burst of boisterous laughter erupted from inside the room.
Shen Daqiang huddled in the corner, staring intently at the pile of money, his throat bobbing involuntarily.
Scarface Liu deliberately counted the money slowly, his fingers twisting the banknotes one by one.
Every time he counted a stack, he would deliberately glance at Shen Daqiang.
"Two thousand...four thousand...six thousand..."
Scarface Liu deliberately dragged out his words.
"Exactly twenty thousand, not a penny less."
He divided the money into two piles, pushing the larger pile to the center of the table, while the smaller pile consisted of only a few thin stacks.

The room erupted in chaos.
The kidnappers scrambled to reach for the money.
Upon seeing his money being divided up, Shen Daqiang suddenly stood up.
"Brother Liu!!"
Shen Daqiang's voice trembled.
"I don't want the 30% you agreed on before, just give me one floor, just one floor, okay..."
Scarface Liu suddenly burst into laughter upon hearing this.
He pulled out ten bills from the pile of money, tossed them aside, and the bills landed at Shen Daqiang's feet.
"I'm in a good mood today, so I'll give you another hundred!"
Shen Daqiang's face instantly turned bright red, and the veins on his neck bulged.
He bent down and picked up the few ten-yuan bills.
The immense humiliation made him blush deeply.
