A malicious glint flashed in her eyes.
"Auntie, whatever you say goes!"
San'er fawned over the old lady and poured her a glass of white wine.
Grandma Zhang drank it all in one gulp, a ruthless glint flashing in her cloudy old eyes.
She put down her wine glass and said in a very low voice.
"I have an idea that will make that bitch obey."
The four nephews immediately moved even closer.
"These next two days, go and find out about Su Yufen and find out her whereabouts."
A sinister smile curled at the corner of Old Mrs. Zhang's mouth.
"When the time comes and no one's around, drag her into a side alley..."
The youngest nephew opened his mouth wide, and his chopsticks fell to the table with a "clatter".
"Auntie, you mean...?"
"right!"
Grandma Zhang slammed her hand on the table, making the dishes rattle loudly.
"If a widow is violated, would she dare to call the police? If she did, how could she face anyone? It would be best if one of you married her; then the house would still belong to the Zhang family, and you could get your compensation back!"
San'er's eyes lit up, and he licked his lips.
"Auntie, that's a brilliant idea! Although Su Yufen is a widow, she's very beautiful..."
"Shut up!
"Old Mrs. Zhang shouted sternly."
"This is to reclaim what belongs to the Zhang family, not for you to think about those dirty things!"
The oldest one stroked the stubble on his chin, a shrewd glint in his eyes.
"Auntie, this plan is meticulous. We need to choose a time when no one is around, and it would be best to get her drunk..."
"right!"
Grandma Zhang slapped her leg excitedly.
"Tiezhu has only been dead for a few days? She must be heartbroken. This is the easiest time to strike! You guys go and keep watch on her tomorrow, find out where she goes every day, and when she walks alone at night..."
The four exchanged glances, lewd smiles appearing on their faces.
San'er rubbed his hands together.
"Auntie, don't worry, we've got this covered!"
Just as the group was plotting, Su Jianguo and Wu Ermaitai were already standing silently outside the courtyard gate.
The old wooden door was not soundproof, and every word of conversation inside could be heard.
Wu Ermai stared wide-eyed, his dirty finger pointing at the door. Just as he was about to speak, Su Jianguo covered his mouth and made a shushing gesture.
"Second brother, did you hear that? That old woman is so vicious and despicable!"
Su Jianguo lowered his voice, a cold glint flashing in his eyes.
"Not only do they want to take over the house, they also want to harm my daughter."
Wu Er nodded, a rare look of anger in his eyes.
"Bad...bad person! Bullying Brother Jianguo's daughter!"
Su Jianguo patted him on the shoulder.
"Remember what I just taught you, and follow my lead from now on."
After saying that, Su Jianguo straightened his collar, put on a smile, and knocked on the door.
The talking inside the room stopped abruptly.
A moment later, Mrs. Zhang's wary voice came.
Who is it?
"Aunt Zhang, it's me, Su Jianguo."
Su Jianguo's voice was gentle and polite.
"I've come to collect the house."
A commotion broke out inside the room, followed by a hushed argument.
After a long while, the door opened a crack, revealing Old Mrs. Zhang's mean face.
"Oh, you actually have the nerve to show up..."
Old Mrs. Zhang's smile was forced and insincere.
"I'm an old lady, I'm planning to die in this house, what can you do? Are you going to kick me out?"
Su Jianguo's smile remained unchanged, but he gave Wu Er a sarcastic look.
Wu Ermaitai immediately grinned, revealing a mouthful of yellow teeth.
"Aunt Zhang... eat... eat grandma..."
His voice was loud and clear, spittle flying everywhere, and the sour smell on his body grew stronger with each movement. He kept staring at Old Mrs. Zhang.
Startled, Old Mrs. Zhang instinctively took a step back, her face first showing shock, then anger.
But before she could speak, Su Jianguo had already pushed open the door and squeezed in with Wu Ermaitai.
Inside the room, four burly men immediately stood up, staring menacingly at the two men.
The table was still covered with unwashed food and drinks, and the floor was littered with trash.
"Oh, we have guests at home."
Su Jianguo looked around, his smile unchanged.
"Aunt Zhang, who are these people?"
Old Mrs. Zhang's face was gloomy.
"My nephew from my mother's side is in the city on business and will be staying for a few days."
She turned to her nephews.
"Aren't you going to greet him? This is Su Yufen's father."
Several men reluctantly called out "Uncle," but their eyes were full of hostility.
Su Jianguo acted as if he hadn't seen anything, and pulled Wu Ermaitai to sit down at the table.
"Perfect timing, we haven't eaten either. Second brother, are you hungry?"
Wu Ermai's eyes had already shifted from Old Mrs. Zhang, and he was staring intently at the braised pork on the table, his mouth practically watering.
"I'm hungry!"
Old Mrs. Zhang's face turned even uglier.
"Father-in-law, isn't this a bit inappropriate? We've already finished eating..."
"It's alright, it's alright, we don't mind."
Su Jianguo had already taken out two pairs of clean chopsticks and picked up a piece of meat for Wu Er.
"Second brother, try some of the city people's cooking."
