The second brother cried out in pain.
Wu Er took the opportunity to get up, only to see San'er approaching with a smelly sock in hand.
In a moment of desperation, he grabbed a cloth bag from the ground, which still contained a few cicadas that hadn't yet flown away, and threw it all at San'er.
San'er got hit in the face by a cicada and frantically swatted it away.
Seeing this, the eldest brother grabbed a broom from the wall and started hitting Wu Er with it.
The broom struck Wu Er's back hard, and he cried out in pain, but this only fueled his anger.
He suddenly rushed towards the leader and crashed headfirst into the leader's stomach.
"Well!"
The eldest brother was knocked back several steps and sat down on the ground with a thud, his face pale.
The fourth brother was stunned and stood in the corner, too afraid to move.
Wu Er, panting heavily, looked around at the four intruders.
"This is... the house that Brother Jianguo gave me..."
He spoke slowly and deliberately, his voice somewhat muffled.
"You...bad people...get out!"
Suddenly, Wu Er's eyes widened in surprise.
Under the moonlight, the round-framed sunglasses on San'er's nose, reflecting a cold light, stung his eyes.
That was a gift from Jianguo, the only and most precious gift he had ever received in his life.
"My sunglasses!"
Wu Er let out a roar and lunged directly towards San'er.
At this moment, San'er keenly noticed the change in Wu Er's appearance.
He grinned and, taking advantage of the moment Wu Ermaita lunged at him, sidestepped Wu Ermaita's attack.
Then, he raised his leg and kicked.
"Bang"
A muffled thud.
The dirty cloth shoes slammed heavily into Wu Er's filthy stomach.
"vomit--"
Wu Er vomited and curled up on the ground.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, San'er took off his sunglasses and twirled them lightly in his hand.
"want to?"
San'er squatted down, holding sunglasses, and loitered not far from Wu Er.
"Beg me, you fool."
Wu Er struggled to get up, but San'er suddenly raised his sunglasses as if to throw them.
Wu Er's pupils suddenly contracted.
"don't want!"
He let out a painful cry.
"This was given to me by Brother Jianguo... I can't drop it..."
Upon hearing this, San'er immediately had an idea.
He winked at the other three.
The eldest brother immediately understood, stepped forward and stomped on Wu Er's dirty calf, grinding the joint until it made a teeth-grinding "crunch" sound.
"Listen, you idiot."
San'er gently patted Wu Er's swollen cheek with his sunglasses.
"Let us beat you up, and we'll give your sunglasses back. If you dare to resist, or even make a sound..."
He suddenly raised his hand.
"I'll just smash it!"
Wu Er was frightened by San'er's actions and words.
He glanced at the sunglasses in San'er's hand, then at the four fierce-looking men, and suddenly rolled over to lie flat, curling up like a fetus with his hands behind his head.
This is the defensive posture he developed after being beaten in the village for twenty years.
"So damn obedient!"
The second brother spat and kicked Wu Er in the lower back.
When the first foot landed, Wu Ermai bit his lip until it bled.
The taste of blood filled my mouth.
He stared intently at the sunglasses in San'er's hand; they were his only solace.
The second and third kicks followed one after another, and the ribs groaned as they could not bear the weight.
A bone broke, and the sharp pain felt like a red-hot iron rod piercing my lungs.
"Scream! Why aren't you screaming?"
The eldest brother grabbed Wu Er's dirty hair and slammed his head against the ground.
"Thump! Thump!"
A series of muffled thuds rang out.
Wu Er buried his head in dirt.
Warm blood flowed down his forehead and into his eyes.
His world turned blood red.
San'er squatted to the side, playing with his sunglasses, occasionally grinning maliciously as if he was about to throw them.
Whenever this happens, Wu Ermaitai will hug his head even tighter, swallowing his sobs back down.
His fingernails dug deep into his arm, leaving ten bloody scratches.
"The ribs feel nice."
The second brother grinned maliciously and deliberately stomped on Wu Er's chest, the sole of his shoe grinding against the broken bones.
Wu Ermai was convulsing all over, and blood foam was spilling from the corner of his mouth, but he didn't utter a sound.
The fourth brother initially hid in the back, but gradually he too was infected by the violent pleasure.
He picked up the broom from the ground and smashed it against Wu Er's dirty knees.
"Click"
With a crisp sound, Wu Er's dirty left leg twisted strangely.
For a full fifteen minutes, punches and kicks rained down on him.
Wu Er was torn and ravaged like a rag doll, yet he kept his bloodshot eyes fixed on his sunglasses.
His breathing grew weaker and weaker, and the blood foam he coughed up was mixed with fragments of internal organs.
Finally, the four of them stopped, panting heavily.
Wu Er lay limp in a pool of blood, using his last remaining strength to reach out his trembling hand to San'er.
"sunglasses..."
San'er suddenly burst into a piercing laugh.
He pulled out the pair of foul-smelling socks and roughly shoved them into Wu Er's mouth.
"A fool is a fool!"
He slapped Wu Er's dirty, distorted cheeks.
"These sunglasses are mine, no doubt about it!"
Upon hearing this, Wu Ermaitai's eyes were filled with anger.
He struggled to get up, but could only fall back down helplessly again and again.
San'er put his sunglasses back on his nose and spat on the ground.
"Hey guys, let's throw this idiot into a garbage dump on the street, that's where he belongs!!"
These men roughly grabbed Wu Ermaitai's limbs.
Wu Ermaitai suddenly remembered something.
