"You seem so excited, have you sold all forty boxes of goods?"
The forty boxes of goods ordered by Xu Jing and Zhou Liping were picked up early this morning.
Zhou Liping laughed and said, "Yes, they're all sold out! We're so glad we listened to you and went to sell egg rolls. Of course, Jingjing deserves the most credit today."
It was their first time doing business. They took the goods out and were too embarrassed to shout out their wares, so they just played the loudspeaker on repeat. They only sold four boxes in the whole morning.
Xu Jing got anxious, so she mustered up her courage to hawk her wares in the afternoon. She became more and more confident, and sure enough, she sold out!
Forty boxes of goods, minus one box for tasting, still leave a profit of eighty!
It's much better than working a regular job, how could Xu Jing not be excited?
"Do you have any stock now? I'd like to order another fifty boxes!" Xu Jing said.
"You can only pick it up after lunch tomorrow. The goods we have now are all pre-ordered."
Xu Jing grabbed He Wenlin and pleaded, "Linlin, can't you think of a way to open a back door?"
“Honey, I can’t help it. Other customers have increased their production. The goods in the warehouse are all arranged for them to come and pick them up tomorrow. If you have them, I will definitely give them to you,” He Wenlin said. “If you order more at once, like a hundred boxes, you can pick them up in two trips, fifty boxes at a time. When you come back the second time, you can order the next batch. I can make arrangements in advance so you won’t run out of stock.”
"Linlin, couldn't you have prepared in advance?"
"It's hot now, and my egg rolls don't contain preservatives, so they have a short shelf life. Even if I stock up, I won't stock much. Other people have increased their orders these past two days, and I simply don't have any stock left. I've also received two large group-buying orders. So, if you want to order, you must place your order in advance, otherwise we won't have any for you."
Zhou Liping and Xu Jing exchanged a glance: "Okay, we'll take a hundred boxes. We'll pick up fifty tomorrow."
"Okay, but the usual rule, pay half the money first."
Xu Jing and Zhou Liping had no objection to this. They believed that one thing should be done separately, and no matter how good their relationship was, they should still give what was due.
