Around six o'clock, they finished playing cards.
He Wenlin heard the sound of the motorcycle leaving. One of the kidnappers even opened the door and came in to take a look at He Wenlin, who was resting obediently in the corner.
"Uncle, when do you plan to let me go home?" He Wenlin asked.
"What's the rush? We'll let you go before we get the money."
"Should you ask my dad how much money he's raised?" He Wenlin said. "Our family hasn't been in business for very long, so it's quite difficult to raise 600,000 yuan all at once. Besides, the bank wouldn't allow us to withdraw so much money at once; they all require an appointment."
"With so many shops and a food factory under your family, banks are practically lining up to lend you money. How could you not have any?"

“Your dad said he’d raise the money by selling a kidney or blood.” The kidnapper’s eyes held a hint of envy as he mentioned He’s father. “Your dad has a good daughter.”
"Uncle, are you married? How many children do you have?"
"Don't ask so many questions, just stay put and we'll release you once we get the money." He didn't want to kill anyone, just like He Wenlin had said before, once someone was killed, the nature of the crime changed.
The man locked He Wenlin in the room and then sat next door waiting for his companion to return.
He Wenlin felt a little happy when she saw that he hadn't taken the bag of snacks with him.
Around 7 o'clock, He Wenlin heard the sound of a motorcycle again, indicating that the kidnapper who had gone out should have returned.
Immediately afterwards, He Wenlin heard the sound of someone opening a bottle while eating next door.
I reckon they've had some food and drink.
Half an hour later they started playing cards again.
He Wenlin found it hard to wait there. Around midnight, she heard them contact another kidnapper!
He Wenlin immediately perked up!
But He Wenlin didn't know what was said; she only heard the person mumble "uh-huh."
But after hanging up the phone, the group showed no intention of taking her away. He Wenlin heard the kidnappers' excited voices saying, "The rest is not our problem. Let's get some rest. We'll be rich after dawn! Hahaha."

He Wenlin had all sorts of guesses in her mind.
The group was so excited they couldn't sleep, and it wasn't until after 3 a.m. that they finally fell asleep.
He Wenlin leaned against the door and heard snoring. She knew her chance had come!
