"I'll add you as soon as I get back," He Wenlin said. "By the way, do you like cake?"
After He Wenlin finished speaking, she took out several cash vouchers for the cake shop from her bag and handed them to her.
"You can use any of Master He's cake shops in the city."
"Thanks."
"We're all family, no need to be so polite. Come visit us often."
Seeing that He Wenlin always had a smile on her face and even invited her to her home, Liu Pei breathed a sigh of relief.
I feel that He Wenlin is not as difficult to get along with as I imagined.
When Liu Pei heard that He Wenlin was the boss and was in charge of He Wenjun's bank cards, she actually had some reservations about her. It wasn't that she thought it was bad to manage bank cards, but she was worried that He Wenlin would be difficult to get along with and would be too controlling.
Fortunately, the truth was different from what I had imagined.
When they were almost home, Liu Pei called to He Wenjun to stop the car, saying she was going to buy some stools.
Without much thought, He Wenjun asked, "What do you want to buy?"
"Please pull over."
He Wenjun pulled over and Liu Pei immediately got out of the car and went to the supermarket across the street.
He Wenjun asked to unbuckle his seatbelt and follow him out.
A few minutes later, the two returned carrying milk, bananas, apples, and other items.
"Linlin, do you want some?" Liu Pei handed her two bananas through the car window.
"I'm actually quite hungry, so I won't stand on ceremony with you, sister." He Wenlin took the food and started eating.
He Wenjun explained, "These were originally bought for you and your grandma, but Peipei felt it wasn't right to come to your house empty-handed, so she insisted on buying these things."
"Sister Peipei, you're too kind," He Wenlin said. "From now on, you only need to go in person. You don't need to buy anything. If you need to buy something, just ask my brother to pay for it."
He Wenjun laughed and said, "Whose sister are you?"
“I’m Peipei’s sister now.” He Wenlin took a bite of banana. “Peipei, I’m serious. My grandma runs a small supermarket. We have plenty of milk, and we also sell apples and bananas. When you come to our house, you don’t need to bring anything. Just show up.”
The small supermarket sells a variety of things, including common fruits like apples, bananas, and pears.
