751 Summer Trip to Shanghai (11)

After Ye Ren finished speaking, even the usually bold Yan Xiaonan felt a chill run down her spine, and goosebumps appeared on her arms in the sweltering summer heat.

"Yu Shu, how about we..." Before Yan Xiaonan could finish speaking, the judge's pen lying on the desk flew up.

At this moment, all of Yan Xiaonan's fear and worry vanished, and her first reaction was to throw the two children into the space.

Just as she was about to throw Ye Ren and Ye Chenming into the space, the pen flew directly into the space as well.

This change startled Yan Xiaonan so much that he vanished instantly, quickly reappearing in the space.

The situation inside the space made Yan Xiaonan's scalp tingle; Tianru had already fainted on the ground without him noticing.

Yu Shu stood upright in front of Tian Ru, her hands in a protective gesture.

And the judge's pen, at some point, had its oval cap removed, revealing its sharp tip.

The tip of the pen was aimed directly at Yu Shu's eyes, and Yu Shu's eyes had completely lost their pupils, with the entire eye socket turning gold.

Yan Xiaonan used his mind to move Tianru out of the space. Seeing Tianru disappear into the space, Yan Xiaonan's tense heart relaxed slightly.

If possible, she wanted to move the jade book out as well, and then see if she could seal the judge's pen in the space.

Presumably, her intentions were discovered by the judge's pen, which suddenly turned and aimed at Yan Xiaonan's throat.

In the blink of an eye, the golden light in Yu Shu's eyes burst forth, and layers of golden light enveloped the entire Judge's Pen, instantly purifying the malevolent aura emanating from it.

The dark black judge's pen slowly lost its heavy black color, and a touch of green slowly unfolded, revealing a fresh and vibrant spring.

With a 'clatter,' the judge's pen fell to the ground. Yu Shu quickly stepped forward and picked it up.

Yan Xiaonan thought of a novel she had read. This couldn't be the Beggars' Sect's Dog-Beating Stick, could it? But the Dog-Beating Stick is very long, how could it be so short?

"Mom, I can't see anymore," Ye Yushu whispered, clutching the dog-beating stick—no, the judge's pen.

Yan Xiaonan hurriedly got up and carefully examined Yu Shu's eyes. Sure enough, Yu Shu's eyes were grayish-white and no longer had their former sparkle and liveliness.

"Yushu, tell your mother, what can I do to help you?" Yan Xiaonan forced herself to calm down.

She is a soul from another world, and strange and unusual things are commonplace to her.

"Mom, can I stay here? The spiritual energy here is abundant, which will help me regain my eyesight as soon as possible. Once my eyesight is fully restored, I can use the Judge's Pen," Yu Shu said.

Yan Xiaonan nodded, understanding that Yu Shu's mention of restoring eyesight likely meant restoring supernatural abilities.

Holding Yu Shu's hand, they arrived at the nursery that had been set up when she gave birth.

After having Yu Shu sit on the small sofa, Yan Xiaonan quickly started arranging the room, wanting her darling to have a comfortable and convenient stay.

"Honey, this is the bed. There are water glasses on the bedside table. You can drink water if you're thirsty. This is the sofa. There are fruits, snacks, and milk on the coffee table in front of the sofa. Please help yourself."

Yan Xiaonan took Yushu's hand and led her through the entire room, finally telling Yushu, "Mom will bring you food and help you take a bath every day."

Yu Shu smiled, and her empty eyes seemed to come alive again. She believed that in this spiritually rich place, her eyes would soon regain their sight.

In the study, when the judge's pen flew up, Ye Ren also stood up nimbly, looking nothing like a man who was almost ninety years old.

His first instinct was to stand in front of the two children and protect them, but Nan Nan reacted faster than him; in the blink of an eye, the two children were gone.

Just as Ye Ren felt relieved, the pen disappeared along with Yu Shu, and Ye Ren became nervous again. Then Nan Nan also disappeared, and the copper rod that was placed in the study vanished without a trace.

Ye Chenming rushed to Ye Ren and took out a heart-protecting pill from his pocket, stuffing it into Ye Ren's mouth.

At this moment, Ye Ren was so shocked by this rapid series of changes that his heart clenched, his face turned pale, and he gasped for breath, like a fish that had been out of water for a long time.

Ye Chenming was extremely nervous, but he gritted his teeth and pressed Ye Ren's philtrum with all his might. Seeing a utility knife on the table, he directly cut all ten of Ye Ren's fingers.

Blood dripped from Ye Ren's fingers, and Ye Ren finally slowly woke up from his semi-conscious state.

Ye Chenming carried Ye Ren to the sofa and made him lie down, comforting him firmly, "Grandpa, we must believe in Nan Nan, she is a fairy."

Upon hearing the word "fairy," Ye Ren's rapidly beating heart finally calmed down, and he said with annoyance, "I was careless."

It was indeed a careless mistake. We should have put that pen into the copper rod in the first place, then the pen would never have had a chance to emerge.

With a 'bang', the two turned around and saw Tianru suddenly appear on the study floor, completely unconscious.

Ye Chenming quickly ran over and picked Tianru up. He put his hand under her nose to check and felt that she was breathing. Ye Chenming nodded to Ye Ren.

Ye Ren let out another breath. As long as he was alive, that was enough. He had a bad mouth; he shouldn't have said that.

Ye Chenming pinched Tianru's philtrum and wiped her face with cold water, but Tianru remained unconscious.

Ye Chenming considered whether to take the child to the hospital, but Ye Ren shook his head and said, "Let's wait until Nan Nan comes back."

After arranging Yu Shu's belongings, Yan Xiaonan looked at the emerald green judge's pen in Yu Shu's hand and couldn't help but feel uneasy. This was a potential danger.

Ye Yushu waved her hand, her eyes were getting more and more painful, so she lay down on the bed and closed her eyes. She needed to rest.

Yan Xiaonan glanced at his daughter with her eyes closed, gritted his teeth, and flashed out of the space. He wondered how his grandfather, Chen Ming, and Tian Ru were doing outside.

A divine aura swept over the father and his two sons, Ye Ren and Ye Chenming, and all their tension vanished.

Tianru slowly opened her eyes, her pupils rolled around, and suddenly she got up and ran towards Yan Xiaonan:

"Mom, save my sister."

"Tianru, your sister is alright. She needs to get some sleep, and she'll be back when she wakes up," Yan Xiaonan comforted her softly.

Ye Chenming and Ye Ren looked tense. Could it be that Yu Shu was fighting with the Judge's Pen? After all, Yu Shu brought the Judge's Pen back with her.

And where did Yu Shu go to sleep? Did she go to sleep at Nan Nan's real maternal home, the Heavenly Palace?

I had so many questions I wanted to ask, but what came out of my mouth was: "Nan Nan, you must be tired. Go and get some rest."

Yan Xiaonan wasn't tired, but she was worried about Yu Shu in the space. After confirming that the father and his two sons were alright, she returned to her room and slipped into the space.

Since Yu Shu said the space has plenty of spiritual energy, let's use the food from the space to cook for Yu Shu. These things should also have spiritual energy, right?
