He immediately stood up and slapped Sun Meifang hard across the face twice. The crisp sound of the slaps silenced the chatter of the villagers.
Sun Meifang's cheeks immediately swelled up, and she was knocked to the ground.
"You shameless brat, you have nothing better to do than hang out with a piece of trash like Wang Erniu. Get out of here!"
Well, they've shifted the blame onto Wang Daniu.
Yan Xiaonan glanced coldly at Sun Tiezhu, who seemed honest and kind but was actually cunning and treacherous. It's true what they say, like begets like.
Wang Gou Dan was no pushover either; aside from Yan Xiaoqiang and the village chief, he really hadn't been afraid of anyone.
Hearing Sun Tiezhu shift the blame to his own family, Wang Daniu became furious, grabbed a broom from the ground, and lashed it out at her.
"You good-for-nothing who only eats and does nothing, you got involved with that ruthless wolves and got tricked, didn't you? You deserve to be tricked, so go back with the person who tricked you. My family doesn't want a fool like you."
Wang Daniu no longer had the strength to dodge. Whether she was being whipped by Grandma Yan or by Wang Gou Dan, it didn't hurt as much as being stepped on by Yan Xiaonan.
Wang Daniu was now in excruciating pain. She glanced at Yan Xiaonan, then at Sun Meifang, and knew that her father was right; she had been tricked by Sun Meifang.
Using the last of his strength, he got up and rammed into Sun Meifang.
Sun Meifang was still pretending to be a pure and innocent girl, crying her heart out, completely unaware that Wang Daniu had rushed over and bumped right into her.
With a loud thud, Sun Meifang's head hit the ground, her head lolled to the side, and she lost consciousness.
A moment later, a stream of blood flowed from under her skull.
The sharp-eyed villagers were shocked: "Murder! Wang's eldest daughter has murdered someone!"
Suddenly, Sun Meifang's side was empty. Apart from Wang Daniu and Sun Tiezhu, even the village chief had fled far away.
Yan Xiaonan closed her eyes, her consciousness spreading to the back of her head. There was a two-centimeter-long gash on the back of her head. She wasn't in mortal danger, but a concussion was inevitable.
She quietly told her grandma and parents, and their tense expressions eased, since she was the one who came to their door.
Two quick-thinking villagers had already run towards the village doctor's house, and soon the village doctor arrived carrying his medical kit.
After the examination, hydrogen peroxide was used for disinfection. As soon as the wound came into contact with the hydrogen peroxide, Sun Meifang cried out in pain and got up.
