The more he rushed, the more mistakes he made. The money bag fell in front of the cart, and he was still pushing hard from behind when he fell out.
He lay sprawled on the cold iron plate, spitting out blood and broken teeth, unable to get up for a moment.
He turned his head with difficulty to look at the three people, his eyes filled with a strong plea for help.
But the three people seemed blind or stupid, standing quietly in place waiting.
The casino owner had no choice but to struggle to his feet, limping and gritting his teeth as he pushed the cart forward.
"You're two minutes late." Mao Tou took out his gold watch and threw it in front of him.
The casino owner's heart tightened. Just as he was about to speak, he saw Maotou's flashlight swing horizontally and then diagonally.
With a series of splashes, the casino owner was furious and about to attack without thinking when he heard his eldest son's cries for help.
"Daddy, Daddy, please save me!"
This time, a light appeared on the other side, shining on a figure who was tied to the stern of the ship, his head and face covered in blood.
The casino owner knelt down: "Hero, spare my life! You've already thrown away six of my seven children. Please, spare one for me."
His head banged repeatedly, and his face was covered in tears, snot, and blood.
King opened one money bag after another, and the fragrant smell of money brought him joy.
"Honey, the money is correct, it's not counterfeit, and there aren't any consecutive serial numbers. This shopkeeper is pretty savvy."
Hearing the beautiful woman speak well of him, the casino owner smiled gratefully at King.
KING turned his head away in disgust; it was too nauseating.
"Tell me, how many people have you caused to drown and become fish food in the past ten years?" Mao Tou took out a cigarette and slowly smoked it.
The casino owner's heart skipped a beat. How many? Two a year, that's twenty in ten years, right? But could he say that?
"You don't need to say anything, I've recorded it all for you. A total of seventeen people were thrown into the sea to feed the fish, and there are quite a few others who were forced to sell their children because of you."
“Regardless of whether you win or lose, you have embezzled at least HK$80 million from these seventeen people. You should hand over all of that money.”
The casino owner froze, staring at Maotou in disbelief. If he took out all that money, what was the point of running a casino?
"You're not going to take it, huh?" Mao Tou's flashlight shone again. The casino owner had witnessed his eldest son being pushed into the sea.
"Ah, I'm going to fight you to the death!" The casino owner suddenly stood up and pounced on Mao Tou.
Mao Tou twisted his body and perfectly avoided being hit. The casino owner rushed straight into the sea, but at the critical moment, Mao Tou grabbed his collar.
Shock, absolutely shock. Looking at the calm sea, the casino owner calmed down.
They walked back silently, and this time Maotou followed them.
KING shone his flashlight, and a small boat came over. Three large bags of money were thrown into the boat. This business deal went too smoothly.
Mao Tou watched as the three men in black emptied all the money from the safes, then nodded to them.
"Mission accomplished. Here's the money for KING. You may leave now."
The man in black was surprised. "Aren't you leaving?"
"I've already handed over this scumbag's criminal record to the police authorities. I've arranged a time with them, and they should be here soon."
The man in black nodded, quickly slung the money bag over his shoulder, and walked toward the deck.
KING was already standing on the small boat, but apart from the extra few large bags of money, Mao Tou didn't come out at all.
“KING, we need to leave quickly, the Hong Kong police and their Flying Tigers have already come out.”
KING nodded, and the small boat quickly left a trail of white water before disappearing in an instant.
Mao Tou pulled out his gun and fired two shots at the casino owner's groin. Seeing the casino owner clutching his groin and screaming in agony, he smiled coldly.
Your own family has run out of descendants, and you, a casino owner, still dream of regaining your former glory and having descendants all around you? You're dreaming.
"You bastard, you can't escape even if I get caught. You have seven lives on your hands," the casino owner said through gritted teeth.
The sirens grew louder as they approached, accompanied by warnings blaring from the loudspeakers. Mao Tou glanced at the casino owner and said, "I'm Canadian; Hong Kong law can't touch me."
The Hong Kong Island boss was dumbfounded, couldn't catch his breath, and fainted.
Mao Tou walked to the deck and shouted to the Hong Kong police officers facing him, "I am the one who reported the case. The person you are looking for is inside."
The cruise ship lowered its ladder, and the Hong Kong police officers climbed up one by one. Upon seeing the casino owner lying in a pool of blood, they immediately provided first aid.
But in the end, they found that the man was not in any danger at all, because the bullet had only punctured his scrotum.
The Hong Kong police officers exchanged glances. This man was too ruthless; a man would rather die than lose his fertility.
The casino owner, who had received temporary medical treatment, slowly regained consciousness and seemed to see his father when he saw the Hong Kong police.
Pointing at Maotou, he said, "He killed my children, seven of them in total, and threw them all into the sea."
The Hong Kong police immediately drew their pistols and aimed them at Mao Tou. They would not tolerate murderers.
"He killed seventeen people, will he rot in jail?" Mao Tou knew that there was no death penalty in Hong Kong.
The Hong Kong police nodded. This was necessary, and his family members, if involved in the case, would also be arrested.
“I’m Canadian, and there’s no death penalty in Canada, but I’m tired of living, so I’m going to find my older brother.”
After saying that, Mao Tou ran towards the deck. The Hong Kong police officer was startled and quickly chased after him.
But it was too late. Without hesitation, Maotou jumped into the raging sea to find his blood-related elder brother.
Everyone stared blankly at the sea, not knowing when, but the sea had begun to ripple slightly.
The cruise ship lit up its lights, scanning the surroundings in hopes of finding the person who had jumped overboard and reported the incident.
The longer it went on, the slimmer the chances of survival became. Finally, the cruise ship sounded its horn and slowly began its return voyage.
That night, just as the casino owner had predicted, a thrilling high-stakes gamble ensued.
There are no winners in this gamble. The casino owner will be childless, and he and his family will spend the rest of their lives in prison.
All remaining properties and belongings were converted into cash compensation for the deceased's family, with any excess confiscated and put into the treasury.
Three days later, on the beach of Hong Kong Island, dozens of people knelt on the shore, lit incense and candles, and devoutly worshipped the sea.
When they were summoned to the police station and received a substantial compensation payment, they learned that their family members had been murdered by the casino owner.
They were filled with righteous indignation and wanted to seek revenge on the casino owner, who was in jail, but his children were still alive.
But the Hong Kong police told them that the young man had already avenged everyone and had jumped into the sea and disappeared.
