Chapter 875 Vancouver (1)

The next morning, after everyone had breakfast, Ye Er announced that she would go with the old patriarch, while Zhang Jun was too ambitious and not suitable to go with him.

Zhang Jun looked somewhat embarrassed. He felt guilty taking his wife's alimony money, but then he thought that if he made a name for himself, his wife's good days would come soon.

Zhang Min laughed and said, "Dad, you're going to live here? We can split the rent, and so can you, brother. The rent will start from today."

Zhang Jun and Zhang Sheng were dumbfounded. Were these still family? But they couldn't bring themselves to ask these questions in front of the old patriarch.

Ye Ren laughed heartily and gave Zhang Min a thumbs up. That's how it should be. Even close brothers keep clear accounts. Everyone received alimony, so why should Zhang Min have to pay it all alone?

Before leaving, Enming's little fox deliberately defecated and urinated on the inside of the gate, as if to claim territory.

Yan Xiaonan disdainfully took out wet wipes and told Enming to clean the little fox herself.

Enming tossed a tissue onto the little fox, who cleverly rubbed its bottom on the tissue, wiped its paws, and jumped into Enming's arms.

Zhang Jun stared at the tiny pile of excrement, unsure how to express his anger. Did even a little beast look down on him?

Enming stroked the little fox's back, muttering disdainful words that were truly beneath her dignity.

The little fox covering its face with its front paws was a rather unseemly gesture; it didn't know why it had such a brainless lapse in judgment to do something so foolish.

In Vancouver, Bei Nan has received a call informing him that Nai and the Ye family will arrive this evening.

I looked up at the sky; the sun was shining brightly—a perfect day for a barbecue. I'll treat my family to a barbecue tonight.

He also hasn't seen his wife and son for almost two months. I wonder if the little guy will forget about me.

Oh, and horses too. He has over a dozen large horses on his estate, though they're all getting quite old.

It seems we should get some foals, but then I thought, since Grandma and the others are just here for a quick look and then they'll be gone, there's really no need to waste money.

They carefully inspected the manor again. It was originally a manor for three people, but Mao Tou sold his share to Bei Nan in order to avenge Brother Long.

Later, when Tie Ge was about to leave, he sold his share to Bei Nan, and now Bei Nan has returned his share to Tie Ge.

From the moment they started preparing to open a securities firm in Vancouver, Bei Nan knew that Tie Ge already wanted to shift his focus back to Vancouver.

In comparison, Tie Jun is a Vancouver resident, and the investment environment in Vancouver is relatively better.

Ye Huixian strongly agreed, and she was willing to go through the trouble of traveling between the two places. They even planned to immigrate Tie Jun's household registration to Vancouver this time.

Tie Ge once asked for his opinion, but Bei Nan did not answer. He didn't know either, because to this day, Bei Nan is still a Canadian.

He had never thought of transferring Yan Li's household registration to Canada, but now that China was taking off, he wanted to seize the opportunity.

They called in a chef, waiters, and some nannies, all of whom rented out their culinary skills by the hour.

After lunch, urged by Bei Nan, Tie Ge and Ye Huixian got busy. They took showers, changed clothes, checked the car, and then headed to the airport.

Since Ye Ren and his group were on a chartered plane, they had to wait at a special tarmac.

Tie Ge understands Bei Nan very well. This guy has long hoped that Nan Nan and the others could come to Vancouver to visit his estate and vineyards.

Now that he'd finally gotten what he was waiting for, it was no wonder he was excited. So as soon as the car stopped, Bei Nan couldn't wait to get out.

As time slowly passed and the sun began to set, two high-end Toyota Coaster minibuses drove up.

Bei Nan knew that Ye Ren had arranged for two cars to pick them up, but did they really need so many?

Tie Ge also came over, glanced at him, and said, "Old Master Ye is a national treasure. He must have people protecting him when he goes out."

Bei Nan thought of the heavily guarded eight-courtyard siheyuan, and there was also a car that was probably for the guards.

Both drivers got out of the car; they wanted to go to the restroom to relax, wash their faces, and stretch.

Bei Nan glanced at the backs of the two drivers as they left, but didn't pay much attention. She raised her hand to check the time; there was still half an hour before the plane arrived.

Ye Huixian suddenly walked over and said she wanted to go to the restroom. Tie Ge smiled and nodded, telling her to go and come back quickly.

Bei Nan glanced back at Ye Huixian's departing figure and suddenly nudged Tie Ge: "Take Aunt Huixian to the restroom."

Tie Ge was a little confused. Why did he need protection to go to the restroom? But he trusted Bei Nan's intuition and went straight after Ye Huixian.

Bei Nan thought for a moment and followed, but halfway there, Bei Nan seemed to feel that something was wrong, so she quickly turned back.

The two drivers have returned and are walking towards the car. But their backs—no, one of them's backs isn't the same one that just walked out.

Bei Nan stared intently at the man, who then boarded the first car and quietly waited for the plane to arrive.

Bei Nan walked over, boarded the minibus, grabbed the driver by the collar, and asked fiercely, "Who are you!"

The driver was startled and grabbed Bei Nan's hand, asking, "Who are you? How did you get in?"

The force was clearly that of a trained fighter. Bei Nan began to tense up. He had never been afraid of anyone in a fight, but when faced with an event that was clearly premeditated, Bei Nan knew that his preparations were insufficient.

Meanwhile, Ye Huixian also encountered a problem. A woman bumped into Ye Huixian, and the gold watch on her wrist was knocked to the ground.

Seeing her beautiful gold watch with its crystal shattered, the woman was heartbroken and almost cried.

She held Ye Huixian's hand tightly, refusing to let go, while Ye Huixian, who was in a hurry to go to the toilet, was unable to break free from the woman's grip.

Upon seeing this, Tie Ge marveled at Bei Nan's incredible sixth sense. He quickly ran over and forcefully pulled the woman's hand away.

Ye Huixian almost wet his pants. As soon as he was free, he rushed into the bathroom and relieved himself.

After tidying up the equipment, Ye Huixian slowly ran out and pointed to the overhead camera, saying to the woman:

"We can check the security camera footage to find out who hit whom. I'm in a lot of pain here, so I need to go to the hospital. If I'm injured, you'll have to pay for my medical expenses."

Tie Ge bent down to pick up the gold watch from the ground and said, "How dare you try to extort money from people with such a counterfeit product? I feel ashamed for you."
