Xu Ningyan hurriedly followed Jiang Yuan into the bathroom, patted her back, and poured her a glass of water so she could rinse her mouth after vomiting.
After Jiang Yuan finally finished vomiting, they cleaned up the mess.
The atmosphere in the living room was tense.
Gu Yong pulled Gu Zhiyuan and his brother aside, asking them to persuade Jiang Yuan.
The two brothers, Gu Dajun and Gu Daikui, pulled Gu Yong aside, demanding an explanation from their biological mother, Fang Dani.
"Dad, you can't do this to Mom! She raised us brothers with such hardship, never abandoning us or Grandpa and Grandma! She's been taking care of you on your behalf! She's been by your side for so many years, and now you can't just not give her a proper status, can you?"
"That's right! The third son's mother is determined to divorce you, so why don't you marry her? Do you think you can find someone young and beautiful, Dad? Don't you know how old you are? You're old enough to be a grandfather holding your grandchildren, how can you be so shameless?"

Gu Yongqi kicked one of them, yelling, "Shut up, all of you! When did it become your place to decide my affairs?"
He turned and scolded Fang Dani: "Is this the good son you raised? What? He's gotten too big for his britches and wants to boss his father around?"
Halfway through his rant, he suddenly remembered something, narrowed his eyes, and stared at Fang Dani: "Or was all of this your plan? Otherwise, why would you come knocking on my door after I've already gone to bed, saying you knew I was in a bad mood, so you fried some peanuts and wanted to have a couple of drinks with me!"
The more she talked, the more she felt it was true: "I said we'd drink in the living room, but you said the kids were asleep and you were afraid of waking them up! So you dragged me to your room to drink! And you were dressed so scantily! You did this on purpose, didn't you? You just wanted to sow discord between me and Jiang Yuan, to make me divorce Jiang Yuan and marry you, right?"
"You ungrateful bastard, Fang Dani! I've fed and clothed you so well! Is this how you repay me?"
Gu Yong's eyes were practically bleeding with hatred.
He had his back to the bathroom and didn't see Jiang Yuan come out.
However, Fang Dani was facing the bathroom and saw Jiang Yuan being helped out by Xu Ningyan. Her eyes flickered, and she stopped crying.
She wiped her eyes, her face full of sorrow: "Dayong! I'm your wife too! I've given you two children! I even take care of your parents! Apart from not working to earn money, how am I any less than Jiang Yuan? You say that Jiang Yuan is the only wife in your heart, then what am I? "If you truly want to repent, and truly feel sorry for my mother and my brother and me, then please let us go! Consider it the last bit of fatherly love you can show us as our father!"
"What?"
Jiang Yuan and Gu Zhixing let out a surprised scream.
Jiang Yuan grabbed Gu Zhiyuan and looked him up and down for a long time before asking in a trembling voice, "When did this happen? Why didn't you tell me? Why, you brat!"

While explaining himself, he dodged Gu Zhixing's attacks, muttering curses under his breath: "Fourth brother, if you don't stop, don't blame us brothers for being impolite!"
