Chapter 20 Dreaming (2/2)

Qiao Shanshan held him tightly, so strong that he couldn't resist, and Zhou Wenwen was dragging him down from behind.

Qiao Shanshan is supporting two people.

By the time I reached the family compound, I was already out of breath.

As the three were about to go inside, they ran into Qiao Wanyue, who was coming out.

Seeing her walk out of the textile factory compound, Qiao Shanshan's eyes flashed with surprise.

It's like a pillow being delivered to someone who's sleepy.

She walked over and stopped Qiao Wanyue from scratching her arm. "Sister, what are you doing here?"

Qiao Wanyue didn't miss the probing look in her eyes and smiled, "I've come to deliver wedding candy to Director Wang."

Qiao Shanshan's eyes darted around, and she snuggled up to Qiao Wanyue, acting coquettishly, "Sister, I need your help with something."

"What's up?"

Qiao Shanshan bit her lip, "Sister, I know you don't want to give up your job, but we're all family, and I don't want to make things difficult for you. Huaiyuan's aunt found me a temporary job at the textile factory."

But I need a formal employee to sign a guarantee. Sister, I don't know anyone else besides you. Could you please sign for me?

Qiao Wanyue gave Qiao Shanshan a meaningful look.

He's full of bad intentions.

That suited her perfectly.

She was genuinely afraid that Qiao Shanshan wouldn't speak up.

She suppressed her excitement; if she offered herself up, then she shouldn't be blamed.

She asked, "Is Aunt Yang Huaiyuan also a full-time employee?"

A hint of impatience flashed in Qiao Shanshan's eyes. Why was Qiao Wanyue so difficult to fool these days?

But she had to suppress her frustration for the sake of her job, and her tone became impatient. "Sister, do you not want to sign for me?" she asked pitifully, tugging at Qiao Wanyue's sleeve.

In the past, whenever she made a mistake, just rubbing against her like this would make Qiao Wanyue's resentment disappear, and she would unconditionally agree to do anything she wanted.

Her favorite was this younger sister.

Qiao Wanyue closed her eyes, suppressing the swelling in her heart.

"good."

A glint of shrewdness flashed in Qiao Shanshan's eyes.

"Sister, let's hurry up and go."

She dragged Qiao Wanyue into the factory, with Yang Huaiyuan following behind her, seemingly oblivious to her intentions.

Upon arriving at the factory, the staff member handling employee information paused upon seeing Qiao Wanyue.

Why is she here again?

Qiao Wanyue simply shook her head slightly.

Then the man understood.

Qiao Shanshan pulled the office staff member aside and mumbled something in her tongue. The staff member raised an eyebrow, looked at Qiao Wanyue and then at Qiao Shanshan, and asked with a suspicious look, "Are you sure she's willing?"

Qiao Shanshan told him that Qiao Wanyue was a formal employee of the textile factory, but she was illiterate and her family had undergone a major upheaval and needed money to get by. She spent a thousand yuan to buy the job, and they were there to complete the formalities.

But we can't upset Qiao Wanyue; just get her to sign.

You can't say too much, or she'll cry.

He glanced at Qiao Wanyue suspiciously. When he saw the girl in the morning, she was full of energy and spoke logically. How could she be the spineless person he described? But now the girl looked like a wilted eggplant.

Were they forcing him?

An alarm bell rang in his mind.

He said, “Comrade, the work of the technicians in the factory is of great importance. Please wait here for me, and I will go and ask the factory director for instructions.”

After he finished speaking, he walked out.

Qiao Wanyue found a stool and sat down, her head drooping, looking extremely listless.

Qiao Shanshan paced back and forth.

She feared that things might change if she waited too long.

This job is of utmost importance to her. In her previous life, Qiao Wanyue was tormented by Yang's mother because she didn't have a job, and she would never let herself follow in Qiao Wanyue's footsteps.

At that moment, a sharp female voice came from outside the door.

"Huaiyuan, you came without telling me."
