"Oh, it's getting lively here." Just as the Lu family members were about to make their move, Qiao Wanyue came out.
She walked straight to Lu Rong's side, reached out and pulled her up, glanced at her swollen face, and then gave Yang Lin a cold look.

Qiao Wanyue scoffed and asked Lu Rong, "Mom, apart from you and Father-in-law, haven't all the elders of the Lu family passed away? How come there are still some random elders pretending to be senior? Am I remembering wrong?"
Old Mrs. Yang's face darkened, and she put her hands on her hips, ready to scold him.
Lu Rong knew his daughter-in-law had come to support him. "My parents died, and your father-in-law married into the family. He said that once he married into the family, he would be a member of the Lu family. Who knew that crow would come out of nowhere and start cawing so annoyingly."
