Chapter 386 Grand Opening (2/2)

"No."

"Has the hot water been arranged?"

"It's arranged."

"Regarding the greenhouses you mentioned, I asked around and found out that the city doesn't allow illegal construction now; every one built will be demolished."

Waiting outside in this freezing weather is really tough.

"Use a little hot water, don't be stingy with the sugar."

Aunt Xie said, "Don't worry, we're doing everything you instructed. Nobody can ruin the reputation at the very beginning. We put in plenty of sugar, and the portions are very generous."

"Um."

As Qiao Wanyue came downstairs, Aunt Xie ran over and whispered a few words in her ear.

"How was the food, everyone?"

Just as the guests were about to leave, they saw a girl in a white down jacket walk over and greet them with a smile.

The food at this restaurant is good, and even the girls there are very pretty.

"It's pretty good, the vegetables are very tender. It's rare to find vegetables like this in winter. It's just that the alcohol content isn't high enough." The man smacked his lips.

Qiao Wanyue said, "Auntie, bring the strongest liquor in our shop for my brother."

The older brother was taken aback.

He said apologetically, "Young lady, I didn't mean it was bad, it's just that ordinary wine doesn't taste very good to me." He was a little embarrassed; he hadn't expected that his casual remark would lead to someone bringing him wine.

Qiao Wanyue explained, "Brother, I'm the manager of this shop. This wine is a gift for you. It's homemade. Please see if it suits your taste. If not, we'll improve it."

"Young lady, are you the store manager?" The older man then took a closer look at the girl in front of him. She had red lips and white teeth, and looked like a fairy. She also spoke very tactfully, which made her acceptable to others.

Qiao Wanyue nodded, "If there are any shortcomings since this is the first time opening a store, please point them out directly, and we can make improvements."

The older brother smiled sheepishly, "I just heard people outside saying you're giving away the base sauce for free. I don't want it, but my wife is from Sichuan, and she hasn't had authentic spicy food in years. Could I buy a piece of the base sauce?"

Qiao Wanyue said, "We have some for you, but judging from what you all ate just now, it wasn't very spicy, so we decided to make it mild. Since you have family from Sichuan, Auntie."

Aunt Xie ran to the back kitchen and came out with a bag a moment later.

"This is 100% spicy, don't give it to children," Aunt Xie instructed.

The older brother was flattered, never expecting to encounter such a conscientious boss.

"Thank you, little sister. I'll come here often in the future."

Qiao Wanyue said, "Thank you, brother. You brought your wife here. I'll have the kitchen prepare her favorite flavor for you."

"Okay."

"Boss, we want some too."

Seeing how generous the owner was, the other guests all started to cheer and make a fuss.

Qiao Wanyue waved her hand, "I have them all."

"Thank you, boss."

Qiao Wanyue stayed until after nine o'clock, her eyelids were already drooping.

The last group of guests hadn't left yet.

Seeing that she was sleepy, Aunt Xie came over and draped a coat over her shoulders. "The customers on the first day were very enthusiastic, and there were very few troublemakers. Everyone asked if the base ingredients were still available, and they were willing to pay money."

Qiao Wanyue shook her head, "Not for sale."

"Why don't we go back to sleep first?"

She's been quite busy these past few days, running back and forth between the two stores, and she even stayed home all day today.

"I'll wait a little longer."
