When the military wives came in, Qiao Wanyue was putting a scarf on Lu Yunzhou. He was already tall, so she had to stand on tiptoe to wrap the scarf around him once. The noise at the door made her loosen her grip on the scarf and tighten her hold on to it. She pulled the two ends of the scarf tightly.
It almost made Lu Yunzhou breathless.
Lu Yunzhou reached out and took her hand, amused, "Loosen your grip first, or you'll really become a widow."
Qiao Wanyue realized what was happening and gave an embarrassed laugh.
