Chapter 79 Lu Rong proposes separation (1/2)

The men in the team stopped Yang Lin, snatched the rake from his hand, and several of them pressed down on his shoulders.

He glared at Lu Rong defiantly, "I'll kill you."

Lu Rong sneered and walked up to Yang Lin. "Let him go."

The men who were suppressing Yang Lin were all strong men from the village. Yang Lin was now like a wolf in a rage, gripping his weapon tightly, his eyes fierce and cruel.

His wife was opposite him, but his gaze was as if he were looking at an enemy.

"Let go, it's okay," Lu Rong said again.

The captain nodded.

The men released Yang Lin.

He sprang up instantly, raising his rake to strike Lu Rong's head. Just as the rake was about to fall, Lu Rong slowly raised her head, her eyes calmly looking at Yang Lin, her body motionless.

The Lu family members also stared at Yang Lin without moving.

Yang Lin's hand hovered in mid-air, the rake refusing to fall.

"Yang Lin, if you're a man, then fight."

Yang Lin certainly wouldn't dare; if he killed Lu Rong, he would definitely be arrested and imprisoned.

It doesn't matter if he goes in; no one will care about his sister-in-law and mother anymore.

They would be bullied to death by Lu Rong.

"Yang Lin, stop! Rongrong is your wife."

While Yang Lin was frozen in place, Old Lady Yang offered him a way out.

Yang Lin breathed a sigh of relief.

"Lu Rong, don't even think about provoking me." Yang Lin thought he had seen through Lu Rong, and sheepishly put away his rake.

Lu Rong scoffed, "Provoke me? You wouldn't dare."

She turned to look at the old lady and said, "The eight hundred yuan you mentioned earlier was used to treat Yang Lin's father's illness. You had no choice but to sell him. As far as I know, you originally planned to use that eight hundred yuan to buy a job for Yang Laoda."

"Yang Lin's father is terminally ill and needs to be sent to a major hospital in the provincial capital to be saved. Yang Lin listened to you and married into the Lu family in exchange for eight hundred yuan, but you secretly gave the money to Yang's eldest son. You told him that his father's illness was incurable and that taking the money would be a waste."

The old man died in excruciating pain in his bed, still worried about you and the children's future before he died.

Grandma Yang paused.

She didn't expect Lu Rong to know.

“Lu Rong, even if you hate our family, you can’t spread rumors. Everyone in the village knows that when my husband died, I almost went to be with him. If it weren’t for the children, I would have gone with him.” Old Mrs. Yang curled her lips.

They wanted to deal with her.

Lu Rong is still too inexperienced.

Lu Rong certainly remembered that when Old Man Yang died, Old Woman Yang cried so hard at the funeral that she almost died.

But just as the coffin was being carried away, she pulled Yang Laoda into a corner and told him he had to cry, to cry because he couldn't bear to part with his father. This way, everyone would know that the eight hundred yuan had been used for his father, and everyone would think that Yang Laoda was a filial son.

Lu Rong certainly didn't believe it. Old Mrs. Yang had acted like she loved her husband very much in public, but after her death, she changed completely.

Later she realized that it wasn't that she had changed her appearance; she had always been like this.

It's just a good act.

Old Mrs. Yang had been pretending her whole life, and Lu Rong knew he couldn't expose her true colors.

She didn't want to expose it.

She turned to look at her own yard, which was a complete mess. "Yang Lin, we've been married for thirty years, and our son and daughter are all grown up. Back then, you threatened to kill yourself to force our daughter to marry into your mother's family."

Let my star fall into the tiger's mouth.

When Lu Rong mentioned his only daughter, he closed his eyes.

This is a pain that will forever remain in her heart.

“What’s wrong with Xingxing? Isn’t my uncle good to her?” Yang Lin retorted, sticking his neck out.
