Chapter 80 The Naive Yang Lin (1/2)

He didn't resent Yang Lin for not loving him, his younger brother, and his younger sister since they were children.

When I was a child, I had high hopes for Yang Lin. He tried his best to be a good older brother, protect his younger siblings, and work hard to earn money so that his mother and younger siblings could live a good life.

From the time he could remember, Yang Lin was the father of Yang Huaiyuan and the Yang sisters. Whenever anything involved the Yang family, Yang Lin would unconditionally side with them and beat them without any explanation.

Grandma Yang didn't like them either. On the surface, she said that the Lu family and the Yang family were the same, that they were all her grandsons, but behind his back she called him a bastard. When he was a child, he liked the kind-faced Grandma Yang very much and couldn't help but get close to her.

Since his grandparents passed away, there was a void in his heart. He thought that Grandma Yang would fill that void, but Grandma Yang only pretended to treat him and Yang Huaiyuan and his siblings equally. Whenever there was food or drink, she would send him away.

Yang Huaiyuan bullied his sister, and Yunzhou beat him up. Old Mrs. Yang chased Yunzhou for three miles with a knife, and finally the knife slashed Yunzhou's ear. Old Mrs. Yang stopped when she saw blood.

When Yang Lin learned of this, instead of standing up for his younger siblings, he beat Yun Zhou up and made him kneel down and apologize.

From then on, he and his younger siblings never set foot in the Yang family's home again.

He also harbored hatred towards Yang Lin.

After having Xiao Hui and becoming a father, he realized that Yang Lin did not love them.

All he wanted was to protect his younger siblings and mother and live out the rest of his life well.

Yang Lin looked at the hatred in Boss Lu's eyes.

There was a moment of stunned silence.

How did things turn out like this between him and his own son?

"Second son, look at the son you raised, he's such an ingrate." Old Mrs. Yang's voice rang out from behind.

Yang Lin's slightest bit of guilt vanished instantly.

"How dare you speak to your own father like that?" Yang Lin scolded Boss Lu with a stern face.

Boss Lu turned his head away, refusing to look at him.

It's upsetting.

"Lu Rong, are you really going to separate?" the captain asked.

Lu Rong nodded, "Let's break up."

Yang Lin jumped up and down, "Fine, let's divide it! I'm telling you, you give me all the money in the house, and you can have my son and grandson."

Yang Lin made an outrageous demand.

Lu Rong had expected him to do this. "Don't you know whether there's money in the house or not? You've emptied the house of all the rat holes, did you find any money? You know the house better than I do, you can divide whatever you want."

She turned to the captain and said, "Captain, please come inside and sit down."

The captain followed him into the house.

Yang Lin turned to look at his mother for help.

Grandma Yang hadn't expected Lu Rong to pull this stunt. Her gaze fell on the Lu family's tiled house, and her own thoughts immediately began to surface.

"Second son, divide the inheritance, Mom will take care of you." Old Mrs. Yang straightened her back.

Yang Lin was deeply moved upon hearing this.

"Mom, I'll listen to you."

He strode into the house with a proud and imposing air.

Yang's mother frowned and whispered in her mother-in-law's ear, "Mom, how could you agree to this...?"

Her meaning was quite clear.

I don't care about Yang Lin's food and drink.

Old Mrs. Yang looked shrewd and calculating. "Are you stupid? We'll try to help him get the house. Then this tiled house will belong to Huaiyuan. Lu Yunzhou has so much allowance. We can ask for some pension money every year. Then we can use that money to buy Huaiyuan a job."

Yang's mother's eyes lit up.

She had long coveted the Lu family's tiled house.

"Mom, you're so smart."

Grandma Yang poked her head and said, "No matter what happens later, we must help Yang Lin get the house and the money."
