Qiao Xiaoni sat on the back of the bicycle, looking at the surrounding scenery. The weather today was not too hot, much cooler than yesterday.
The two remained silent the entire way.
Su Chenhao was definitely thinking about something, so Qiao Xiaoni didn't disturb him and obediently sat on the back of the bicycle.
Su Chenhao parked his bicycle at the entrance of the village, as riding it was inconvenient.
When Qiao Xiaoni got out of the car, she found that Sujia Village was smaller than Qiaojia Village, and the people lived more scattered, with each household having its own courtyard.
Su Chenhao turned around and said, "Let's go see the village chief first and see what he has to say about this matter."
Qiao Xiaoni nodded, "We really need to ask the village chief about this. Maybe your second aunt is just trying to take your family's property and is resorting to shameless tactics. Don't be too pessimistic. Besides, it's just a few houses in the countryside."

I happened to see the village chief sitting at the door smoking a pipe, with his two grandsons playing beside him.
The village chief of Sujia Village, Su Xinghe, is over 50 years old. He doesn't have much to manage in the village; his usual job is to hold meetings for everyone.
Su Xinghe immediately stood up when he saw Su Chenhao arrive, his face beaming with smiles.
"When did you come back? You've been gone for two years without a word. Your face is much darker than before, and you're much stronger."
Su Chenhao realized he hadn't visited the village chief since returning home; he'd been busy with one thing after another, and by the time he got back at night, everyone was asleep.
"Uncle, I've been back for several days now, and I've come here today to ask you something."
Su Xinghe smiled happily and noticed a little girl standing next to him.
"Who is this girl? Is she your girlfriend? You're not getting any younger, it's time to have someone. When are you getting married?"
Qiao Xiaoni: ...
Does she really look that much like Su Chenhao's girlfriend? Why does everyone ask that? Do they look like a married couple?
Su Chenhao: "You still love to joke around. This girl is my friend. She lives in Qiaojia Village next door."
Su Xinghe looked at the little girl in front of him and said, "Our Chenhao is a good person. He has been filial to his parents since he was a child and has a strong sense of responsibility. You must find a man like him. You can enjoy happiness as soon as you enter the family. He has thought of everything for you and will never let you worry about anything again."
