Ding Guizhi didn't expect the village chief to come. When she saw Su Chenhao following behind him, she understood everything. She swept the sunflower seed shells off her body and then remembered that she hadn't combed her hair. She quickly tidied it up with her hand.
"Second brother, what are you doing?"
Su Xinghe, with his hands behind his back, said, "Where's your Su Ming? I don't want to talk to you about him. Let him come out and talk to me."
Ding Guizhi: "He went up the mountain to work and won't be back until later. What are you doing?"
Su Xinghe craned his neck to look into the courtyard, but did not see Su Ming. He then looked away and said to Ding Guizhi.
"What nonsense are you spouting? Su Chenhao's father and I grew up together. Do you think I wouldn't know if he's a member of the Su family?"
Ding Guizhi took a step back. She hadn't expected the village chief to get involved. What was she going to do?
Su Chenhao: "Auntie, I just want to know the truth. Is my dad really my grandfather's child?"
Ding Guizhi looked troubled. The village chief came over to testify, and it was clear that this matter was difficult to handle.
Su Xinghe pointed at her and said, "As the old saying goes, you should marry a virtuous wife. Since you entered the Su family, all you've done is gossip and never a good deed. If this were 20 years ago, I would have used my power as village chief to kick you out of the Su family!"

Ding Guizhi nodded hastily. She knew that if she didn't agree, the village chief wouldn't leave, and things would get even more ugly. Su Chenhao was responsible for all of this, and she would remember this grudge and get her revenge sooner or later.
Qiao Xiaoni originally thought there would be a tough battle today, but it turned out that the village chief of the Su family was a master, and the matter was resolved without them having to lift a finger.
Ding Guizhi fled back into the house in a panic, as if someone was chasing her. The dogs in the yard barked incessantly, their voices unusually shrill.
Su Xinghe said to Su Chenhao, "Your second aunt is talking nonsense. This is the only way to resolve this matter. Making a big fuss will not be good for anyone."
Don't take it to heart. Just live your life as usual. If you have any difficulties, just come to me. I'll help you if I can." He thought to himself, wondering if this brat believed him. Almost everyone who knew the inside story was already gone. Even if he wanted to investigate, he wouldn't find anything. Peace and safety are the best blessings.
