Chapter 280 Fighting 3

After watching the driver's car drive away, Su Chenhao estimated that the people would arrive in about ten minutes. He then reprimanded the five people standing to the side:

"All of you, crouch down. Don't even think about running away. I've caught your leader. Even if you run away today, you'll be caught later."

Fleeing is a serious crime, doubly serious. Think carefully before you act, lest you compound your mistake!

The five men simultaneously retracted their feet, exchanged glances, and obediently squatted down, hands behind their heads. In their view, going in would at most take ten days or half a month. Becoming fugitives for such a small matter was hardly worth it.

Qiao Xiaoni saw their cowardly behavior as nothing more than a group of immature children who had been misled into going down the wrong path.

Scarface felt utterly humiliated. How could his men be so cowardly? If word got out, how could he ever be a boss again? With the knife to his neck, he suddenly steeled himself, gripped the hilt, and tried to wrest the knife back.

Su Chenhao was prepared and immediately pulled the knife back. Scarface's hands were cut open and bleeding profusely because he was holding the blade. He cried out in pain.

"You overestimate yourself." Su Chenhao threw the knife on the ground. "With your skills, you think you can be the boss?"

Scarface was so angry he didn't know what to say. Blood kept flowing from his palms, and if it kept flowing like this, he'd be dead!

Qiao Xiaoni didn't want to make a big fuss, so she took out two handkerchiefs from her pocket—actually, she took them from her spatial storage—and threw them into his hands.

"Stop the bleeding right away!"

Scarface quickly wrapped his hand with a handkerchief, which slowed the bleeding and calmed his nerves.

Just then, a police car drove up from a distance and quickly stopped in front of them, followed closely by a taxi.

Su Chenhao briefly explained the situation to the police captain. These were repeat offenders, registered at the police station. After a brief assessment, they were taken away.

After Su Chenhao and Qiao Xiaoni left Kai, they took a taxi and soon arrived at the small bus station.

They thought they would miss the car and have to hire a taxi back to town, but the car just happened to break down and take a long time to repair, so they were the last group of passengers.

There weren't many passengers on the bus back. Su Chenhao found a window seat and let Qiao Xiaoni sit inside while he sat on the outside.

What happened today was very dangerous. My blue clothes still have that person's blood on them, but luckily the color of the clothes is dark, so outsiders can't tell anything.

Looking at the scenery outside, Qiao Xiaoni said with lingering fear, "What just happened feels like a dream. How did you react so quickly?"

Su Chenhao laughed: "Because I think fast. The moment the car stopped, I sensed something was wrong. When he opened the door and handed me the knife, I had already figured out what to do."

We relied on a strategy of remaining unchanged amidst constant change, and fortunately, his reaction was slow; we won.

Qiao Xiaoni felt that she couldn't handle what had just happened as well as Su Chenhao.

Fortunately, everything turned out alright, and I suddenly had a plan in my mind: I must buy a car when I have a lot of money.

As it grew dark, the car arrived in town. They quickly went back to the shop to get their bicycles, chatted briefly with Qiao Xiaoshan, said goodbye, and rode home.
