Qiao Xiaoni had already figured something out from their conversation: the girl surnamed Zhou was from a wealthy family, and the man surnamed Sun was probably spending her money.
This sounds a bit like someone who lives off a woman, and the main problem is that this man is very concerned about his image. Such a person is two-faced, saying one thing and doing another, and it's hard to say what he might become in the future.

Su Chenhao had already sat up, put on his shoes, and picked up the kettle on the table to fetch water. He felt that if he went too late, there would be no hot water left.

Su Chenhao also started eating, thinking how good it was that the two people sleeping on the top bunk hadn't come down.
I thought I wouldn't be bothered during the trip, but I ended up encountering two clueless people.
The train will not depart again for another hour, which means it will be delayed.

"Why go buy anything? Isn't this all there? We can just grab something to eat." Sun Jie climbed down from the table, yawning, and spoke without any politeness, as if they were old friends.
"How can we do that? They just bought this this morning. If we eat it all, what will they eat?"
"I'll go check the carriage and buy some of our favorite things to eat," Zhou Meiling retorted.
“Fine, go ahead and buy it if you want, your family has money anyway,” Sun Jie said defiantly.
Qiao Xiaoni had already concluded from their brief time together that this man wasn't all that great. He seemed alright at first glance, but after getting to know him, her personality became quite unpleasant.
A man who is too fond of taking advantage of others is someone you might be okay with if you have a carefree personality. Otherwise, trouble is bound to happen sooner or later. Nobody wants to be taken advantage of all the time, not even married couples.
