Qiao Xiaoni thought Su Chenhao would come back first, and then they could eat first. But to her surprise, Sun Jie returned first, carrying two white styrofoam lunchboxes.
"Come down for dinner, I bought your favorite shredded pork."
Upon hearing that there was shredded pork to eat, Zhou Meiling quickly got up, dressed, and got off her bunk. She took the lunchbox he handed her and opened it. It was stir-fried shredded pork with green peppers, and green peppers were her least favorite dish.
"Why did you buy me green peppers? I don't like this vegetable."

Su Chenhao picked out a few lean pieces and put them on Qiao Xiaoni's plate before eating his own meal.
Zhou Meiling wasn't asleep; she saw everything that happened below and felt incredibly envious of their relationship.
Watching Sun Jie frantically eating, she realized for the first time that their values were different. This made her doubt the nature of their relationship.

The bus arrived on time at 3 p.m. and everyone started packing their luggage.
Zhou Meiling was the first to finish packing: "Where are you two going to stay after you get off the bus? It's already three o'clock, and there's probably no one left at the school. Even if you go to register, you won't be able to get a dormitory room."
Qiao Xiaoni put the cup in her bag, leaving only the bed sheet unfolded.
