Chapter 407 Going to School for Registration 2

the next day.

Qiao Xiaoni woke up naturally. She had just sat up and rubbed her eyes when she suddenly remembered that she had to go to school to register. She looked at the clock and it was already 7:30. She quickly threw off the covers, got out of bed, put on her shoes, and went out to wash up.

I slept very well last night. It felt like I was hugging a big pillow, and my whole body was warm and cozy. I've never felt so comfortable before.

When I came to the living room, I saw that breakfast had already been set out on the table.

Millet porridge, fried eggs, and a dish of pickles brought from home.

She heard a noise from the kitchen and went inside to see Su Chenhao kneading dough.

"Wasn't breakfast already prepared? What's going on here?"

"I want to steam some buns, but the dough needs to be fermented in advance." Su Chenhao took a lid from the side and covered the basin: "Why didn't you sleep a little longer?"

Qiao Xiaoni yawned, "How can I sleep anymore? I got up late enough today, and I still have to go to school to register. It's better to go early."

Su Chenhao: "Okay, let's eat breakfast quickly. I'll take you to school later after you register."

Let's look around and see if there's anything suitable to do. If not, we'll find some work to do for now.

Qiao Xiaoni sat down in the chair: "Working is not as profitable as doing business, for example, setting up a stall, what do you think?"

"Okay, I'll listen to you then. Let's walk around and see if there's anything suitable to buy or sell."

Su Chenhao also sat down to eat; the sweet millet porridge tasted very good.

As Qiao Xiaoni ate, her mind raced, trying to figure out what kind of business would be suitable for her to do alone, or perhaps for two people to do together.

After finishing the meal, I still couldn't figure it out. I could only wait to go out and check the surrounding area before making any plans. I had enough money on hand, so I could go without working for a month or two without any problem.

I had to change my clothes before going out. Winter was coming soon, so I took out the trench coat I bought last time, let my hair down, and trimmed my bangs a little with scissors. I looked quiet, pretty, and elegant.

Unbeknownst to them, the original owner's appearance had slowly disappeared from this face. The current appearance was quite similar to their original appearance, except that this face looked youthful.

Su Chenhao changed into a black suit and wore leather shoes.

Qiao Xiaoni saw that he was wearing leather shoes, so she went back to change them too. When she came out just now, she felt that something was wrong with her feet. It turned out that she was wearing the wrong shoes.

The two locked the door and set off. Just as they came downstairs, an elderly woman in her fifties or sixties came upstairs carrying a shopping basket. She was dressed neatly and cleanly, with slightly gray hair and wearing glasses.

"Hello, Auntie!" Qiao Xiaoni greeted her proactively.

Zhou Xinping looked at them carefully, then suddenly realized and said, "You're the residents who just moved in on the third floor, right?"

"Yes, we just moved here, and today is our first day downstairs," Qiao Xiaoni replied readily.

"Oh, I live upstairs from you. You can call me Aunt Zhou. If you need anything, feel free to come to me. I'll try my best to help if I can."

"Okay, Aunt Zhou, you can come visit me sometime." Qiao Xiaoni replied politely.

Zhou Xinping thought the young girl was quite pretty, and the man beside her was tall, handsome, and strikingly good-looking. She hadn't seen such a good-looking young man in a long time. She couldn't help but glance at him a few times, wondering about their relationship.

The third-floor apartment had been vacant for a long time; she had met the owner. She said she wanted to rent it out, but it had been over half a year since their last meeting. The main reason it hadn't been rented out was because her rent was quite high. The fact that they were able to rent the apartment meant they weren't poor; they at least had some spare cash.
