Qiao Xiaoni leaned close to his ear: "Do you want some barbecue skewers?"
No man dislikes barbecue. He may not drink alcohol, but he will definitely love barbecue.
Su Chenhao laughed: "I've eaten meat skewers outside, but I've never tried yours. Then I'll look forward to a big meal tonight."
Qiao Xiaoni raised her hand and touched his face, then turned and walked towards the corner of the market, where she bought a large handful of bamboo skewers from a vendor selling miscellaneous items for five cents.
Sure enough, when I mentioned it to him, he said that the beef vendor had referred them, and they were given an extra handful of skewers.
After buying everything, I left the market and went straight home.
When I got home, I checked my watch; it was exactly three o'clock. I put the groceries on the kitchen floor.
Qiao Xiaoni washed her hands and prepared to handle it.
Su Chenhao grabbed the kitchen knife first: "Tell me how to handle this, and I'll take care of it."
Qiao Xiaoni didn't like cutting meat to begin with, so she stood aside and directed the process, and it took her almost half an hour to finish distributing the meat.
Qiao Xiaoni sent most of the tasks back into her space, leaving behind a pot of meat, which she cut into small cubes according to the size of barbecue.
It was seasoned with special spices and marinated briefly.
Now that she finally had some free time, she pulled Su Chenhao back into the house and sat down.
"I plan to sell barbecue tonight, the weather here is warmer than at home."
We don't need to sell too late, selling until 10 PM is fine. It won't interfere with our rest and we can still make money.
“That’s one way to make money, but it means you won’t get enough rest. I think it’s better if I do it myself, and you can stay home and study.” Su Chenhao offered his opinion, then, feeling a bit thirsty, picked up the teapot and poured two cups of tea.
"Don't worry about resting, I have my own space. If you get too tired, just go back to your space to sleep, and you can make up for the sleep you've missed. The same goes for studying, don't worry, nothing will go wrong."
I think this is a good business opportunity. We can try it ourselves first, and then hire people if we can't handle it all.”
“There’s no need to hire anyone. We have Momo. He can handle this work.” Su Chenhao said without any hesitation. He believed that if someone was keeping a freeloader at home, they should contribute to the family’s livelihood.
While quietly cultivating in his spatial realm, he suddenly sneezed, rubbed his nose, and continued cultivating with his eyes closed. Unaware that he was being watched, he focused intently on his cultivation, eager to break through to the next level as quickly as possible.
Qiao Xiaoni's eyes lit up: "You're right, how could I forget about him? We can leave these things to him, and all we have to do is make money from the barbecue tonight."
Once I have more money, I'll find someone to help me with chores, so I won't be so tired.
Su Chenhao casually put his arm around her shoulder: "You're really smart; you can come up with any idea to make money."
With her head resting on his shoulder, Qiao Xiaoni wore a happy smile.
"I came here on a whim when I entered the market, and the location just happened to be good, plus there's a school right across the street."
There's a residential area right behind here, so I feel like this business has potential. I just don't know if I can make money.
"You can definitely make money. I trust your judgment."
"But where should we set up our stall? Just on the roadside?" Su Chenhao frowned as he thought about this question; he was already starting to consider the business.
