Chapter 424 Reunion 2

Zhou Meiling shook her head: "No need, just let him sit over there, the two of us can sit here."

You have no idea how unfamiliar I was when I first arrived here; I didn't know anyone. We ended up spending one night together in the car.

I feel more at ease when I'm with you, but I don't know if we'll be in the same class in the future. It would be great if we were, so we could study together!

When Qiao Xiaoni saw Sun Jie walk over and find no seats, she turned and sat down on the other side, nodding to her. As someone she knew well, she nodded back, then continued speaking to Zhou Meiling:

"There are a lot of students registering this time, so we'll be divided into at least three classes, and the chances of getting a spot are a bit slim. But even if you're not in the same class, you can always find me!"

Zhou Meiling beamed: "We two are really destined to be together. I think God will definitely put us in the same class."

"Maybe!" Qiao Xiaoni replied, noticing out of the corner of her eye that Teacher Tian was coming. She nudged Zhou Meiling, telling her to stop talking.

Zhou Meiling understood immediately. When she saw a slightly overweight man walk in, she knew that this must be the teacher.

Teacher Tian stood on the podium: "Students who registered today, please sit on the left. Students who came yesterday, please sit on the right. Get moving now, or I'll have to say it twice."

Zhou Meiling looked helpless and could only get up and go to the left, sitting next to Sun Jie.

A girl in a red wool coat sat down next to Qiao Xiaoni. Her hair was short and tied back, the most striking feature being a red hair clip. She had a baby face. Qiao Xiaoni thought she had spoken to her yesterday; she remembered the girl's name was Cao Minghui, and she was three years older than her. Her parents were market administrators, and they were local residents.

Cao Minghui put her bag into the drawer: "Where did you go yesterday afternoon? Everyone else was there except you. I thought you were lost or sick."

"Oh, I had something to do yesterday, so I left early. I told the teacher," Qiao Xiaoni replied.

Cao Minghui's eyes darted around: "I heard from them that a man came with you yesterday. He was quite good-looking. What's your relationship with him?"

"Did many people see it?" Qiao Xiaoni asked.

"Yeah, quite a few people saw it. You guys even ate at the cafeteria afterwards. I heard he's even better looking than the most handsome senior in our school."

"He's my boyfriend, we're engaged, and we'll officially get married after I graduate from university." Qiao Xiaoni didn't try to hide it and said it openly. What's the point of hiding it? They'll find out about her boyfriend sooner or later anyway.

It's better to just admit it openly, so they don't make wild guesses and spread bad rumors.

Su Chenhao is incredibly jealous; when he gets jealous, it's like he's fallen into a vat of vinegar.

"What? He really is your boyfriend? You're incredibly bold! Besides, how could your family agree to this? You're a college graduate with a bright future ahead of you. What does he do for a living?"

"I don't have a job right now, but I'll have one soon."

"Oh, I see. You're so young and you already have a boyfriend. If you get married and have kids in a few years, you'll have wasted your youth."

Our country now encourages later marriage and childbirth, so we can use our youth to build the nation. I won't find a partner so early; I'll focus on my career first.

Qiao Xiaoni smiled: "When fate comes, it comes. It was love at first sight between us. I was determined to marry no one but him."
