But it was too late. Song Min then kicked him again, and he couldn't hold onto the door at all, so he was kicked to the ground.
Song Min walked in carrying a kitchen knife: "Where's your dad! And where's your bitch sister? Bring them all out here and explain yourself. We're not going to get to the bottom of this today."
Don't blame me for going in with a white knife and coming out with a red one.
Qiao Dongdong was so scared that he wet his pants. He was just a teenager, and when had he ever seen such a scene?
"I... just got up too, and it seems like no one's home."
Seeing that his cowardly appearance was even more cowardly than his own, Song Min thought, "As the saying goes, bullies prey on the weak and fear the strong." He stepped forward and grabbed the man's collar: "Where did they go? Where's your sister? Did she really run away?"
"My sister...she ran away." Qiao Dongdong's voice trembled, and he was so frightened that he couldn't stop the urge to urinate, and he ejaculated profusely.
Song Min was furious and swung his right hand, slapping Qiao Dongdong's arm hard.
"Ah!" Qiao Dongdong screamed as he fell to the ground, blood flowing out of his wound and soon gushing out.
The bright red blood quickly brought Song Min back to his senses. Seeing that he had injured someone, he knew things were serious. He quickly threw away the kitchen knife in his hand, turned around and ran away; he didn't want to be arrested and go to jail.
At this moment, life is more important than anything else; all the thoughts that had been in my mind before have been wasted.
Qiao Dongdong pleaded for help from the adults around him, but no one came until ten minutes later when someone finally mustered up the courage to come over.
They helped him up from the ground, and someone else took out a towel to wrap his wound.
No one knew what to do. Seeing that Qiao Dongdong's face was getting paler and paler, they finally notified the neighborhood office and sent him to the hospital.
When Wang Qin received the news, she almost fainted. When she arrived at the hospital, her son was undergoing surgery. Looking at the operating room door, she felt that her family was completely finished.
Qiao Haixing arrived shortly afterward and looked at Wang Qin, who was slumped on the ground: "How is our son?"
Wang Qin stood up and walked towards him step by step: "Why aren't you home? Why are you making our son suffer all this? I went out to work, what were you doing out there?"
"You and your daughter caused all this trouble, why should we, mother and son, suffer the consequences?"
Thinking of her runaway daughter, her resentment grew even stronger; she wished her daughter would die out there and never come back. Her son was her precious darling, and after raising him with such difficulty, he had become disabled. How could he possibly find a wife in the future? She dared not imagine what would happen next.
"I...I just went out for a walk, who knew something like this would happen?" Qiao Haixing was also filled with remorse. If he had known this would happen, he wouldn't have gone out. When he got home and saw a pool of blood in the yard, he knew something serious had happened. After listening to his neighbor's account, he rushed to the hospital.
"My son's hand could be ruined if things aren't handled properly. What will he do then?" Wang Qin wept bitterly, kneeling on the ground again. She truly didn't know what to do. If she could take the pain for her son, she would rather have cut her own arm instead.
"Don't scare yourself. Maybe things aren't as bad as you think. We'll know after the surgery," Qiao Haixing comforted her, holding her close and not stopping her waving fist. He felt he had to bear all of this; he wished he could turn back time so none of this had happened.
The operating room lights went out.
A doctor in a white coat came out and, seeing them crying uncontrollably, said with a heavy heart, "I've done everything I could. Your son's arm can't be saved. Make a decision sooner rather than later; amputation can save his life."
