"What? You're saying my shop is still open?" Su Chenhao and Qiao Xiaoni exchanged a glance, both wondering why the shop was still open.
What are Gu Anyi and Gao Jing up to? Why aren't they listening to them?
"Yeah! It's always open! How come you, the owner, didn't know the shop was open?" the driver continued to tease.
Su Chenhao didn't answer, but a question lingered in his mind, and he was eager to know the answer.
They arrived at the snack bar quickly, told the driver to wait at the entrance, and then hurried inside.
Before Qiao Xiaoni could even speak to them, she was startled by Qiao Lingling, who was sitting by the door with her legs crossed.
Qiao Lingling was equally shocked, and the melon seeds in her hand involuntarily fell to the ground.
Su Chenhao frowned: "What are you doing here?"
"This is my shop, why do you think I'm here?" Qiao Lingling replied bluntly, her eyes blazing with hatred as if they were enemies meeting.
Qiao Xiaoni and Su Chenhao looked quite well-dressed, which deeply stung her. Thinking about her miserable life over the past few days, she realized how unlucky she had been.
Qiao Xiaoni was too lazy to waste words with her, so she opened her mouth and called into the house, "An Yi, Aunt Gao, come out for a moment."
Qiao Lingling was dumbfounded. How did she know their names? A bad feeling suddenly crept into her heart.
Gu Anyi and Gao Jing hurriedly came out of the kitchen and were very happy to see them.

Gao Jing stepped forward and explained, "This girl fainted from hunger at the shop entrance. I felt sorry for her, so I helped her inside."
Unexpectedly, she woke up with no memory of her past. We couldn't get anything out of her, so we had no choice but to keep her here for the time being.
Qiao Xiaoni nodded and looked at Qiao Lingling again: "Big sister, you're trying to cheat and swindle me!"
Qiao Lingling was pale and took several steps back before collapsing onto the stool with a thud.
She never expected that the place she had finally found to stay would be Qiao Xiaoni's shop.
It just goes to show how small the world is; she's had the worst luck imaginable.
"Big sister?" Gu Anyi exclaimed in surprise, instantly realizing that they had been tricked.
Su Chenhao: "This young lady is your sister-in-law's older sister, and we're not very familiar with her."
She stole money from home and ran away, making the elderly in the family sick. They were on their deathbed, so your sister-in-law and I came here today to tell you that you shouldn't open the shop for the next few days. Your sister-in-law and I are going home to handle the funeral arrangements.
There was so much information that Gu Anyi and Gao Jing were at a loss for words. The girl they had kindly taken in turned out to be someone of great importance.
Qiao Lingling then came to her senses: "What did you mean by that? You mean Grandma is sick? About to die?"
She had only stolen a small amount of money; how could it have caused the old woman's death? This truly terrified her.
"You haven't forgotten what you did so quickly, have you?" Qiao Xiaoni looked at her. "No matter what mistakes she made, you shouldn't have stolen her money."
Now that the old lady is failing, you bear the main responsibility for this matter.
