The Fu family.
In the retro-styled study, Fu Jialin looked at the documents in his hand. This family was no ordinary family; they had undergone tremendous changes in just a few months.
Su Chenhao and Su Chenqiu came from a remote mountain village, not far from where their older brother went missing.
Back then, my eldest brother was kidnapped by two people not long after he was born. The family sent many people to chase after him, but in the end, they found nothing.
This matter became a deep sorrow for his parents, and they never forgot it until their deaths. They instructed him that if he were to find his elder brother or his descendants during his lifetime, he must take good care of them.
Their parents' generation only left them two bloodlines, so as long as they were recognized as their brothers' biological children, they had to bring them back to take care of them.
Her only son died in a car accident, and her daughter-in-law also passed away.
He left behind a frail and sickly grandson. He always believed that his son's car accident was caused by someone, but he had no evidence.
The incident happened abroad, so the available leads were extremely limited. The grandson was frail and sickly, supposedly due to a lack of proper care during his pregnancy.
Now that I think about it, something seems off about this matter. It's been too long, and there's no way to investigate it thoroughly.
If someone wants to harm the Fu family, who is it? Why can't we find even the slightest clue?
Butler Fu carried a cup of hot tea on a tray, glanced at it after entering the room, and then placed it on the table. He didn't wait for a reply before speaking.
"Sir, I have placed the tea on the table."
"Sixth Brother, do you think they're the people I'm looking for? It feels so unreal, they found them so easily." Fu Jialin put down the documents in his hand. There was really no one to discuss it with, so he could only vent his frustrations to the butler.
Butler Fu bowed his head: "Master, forgive me for saying something unpleasant, but regardless of whether it's true or not, you should find some time to see them. The eldest young master is very devoted to his newly adopted younger brother. I've never seen him study so diligently in his room before."
Furthermore, despite the heavy snow these past few days, the young master hasn't had a relapse, and his symptoms are even much better than before.
I don't know if it's because he's in a good mood. There's an old saying that goes, "A mental illness requires a mental cure."
"Hmm, you make a good point about the last sentence." Fu Jialin stroked his graying beard. "This information is not simple. Go and investigate further. I need accurate information."
"Yes!" Butler Fu replied respectfully, then turned to walk to the door, remembering Fu Ru's situation, and turned back again: "Master, Fu Ru's face can't be cured. Do you want to contact her father and take her abroad to be cared for?"
Having someone like that in the house is making everyone uneasy, mainly because of her terrible temper. She's always throwing things, hitting, or yelling. Does she think this is the old society? The helpers haven't owed her anything, and besides, to put it bluntly, you have to consider the owner before beating a dog!
Fu Jialin raised his hand: "I understand what you're saying. I'll take some time to talk to Fu Dong and ask them to arrange for someone to come over as soon as possible."
However, I don't think they'll send anyone over. You know, once a piece loses its function, it's useless to them; it's just a piece of junk.
Butler Fu nodded: "You're right. They didn't have good intentions when they sent the person over."
Fortunately, the old man was wise and sent her to school, which ensured that things remained peaceful for the past few years.
