Chapter 796 Vomiting

"Green light?" Qiao Xiaoni was surprised at first, then she understood. Having lived the life of an ordinary person, she had forgotten that she could amplify her divine sense to see into the distance.

Extending my divine sense into the distance, I saw nothing.

"Why is there nothing here?"

"I saw it at first glance, and then it disappeared." Su Chenhao wondered what that green light could be.

"The atmosphere has many colors; maybe it's just refracting light from everything that created that green glow. Don't think too much about it, let's hurry home, the snow is getting heavier." Qiao Xiaoni subconsciously pulled her collar tighter, feeling the temperature drop by another degree or two!

Su Chenhao nodded, then took her hand and went upstairs together.

Back home, everyone took off their cotton-padded coats.

Qiao Xiaoni touched the hot water pipe: "Why does it feel so much cooler than when I first got off the hot water?"

Su Chenhao: "It's probably because the weather is too cold. We're not afraid of the cold, so we'll just make do for the night. We'll check the snow situation tomorrow, then go to the train station. If there are any trains available, we'll go home."

"Mmm," Qiao Xiaoni replied, turning around to make the bed. After disappearing for half a month, a little dust had settled on it. A gentle pat and it would be ready to sleep on.

Su Chenhao walked over and hugged Qiao Xiaoni from behind: "I almost thought we would never see each other again, but thankfully everything turned out alright."

Qiao Xiaoni turned around and hugged him, but just as she was about to speak, she suddenly felt nauseous and had to go to the toilet to vomit.

Su Chenhao then followed her into the restroom and saw that Qiao Xiaoni had vomited up what she had just eaten. He quickly turned around, poured a glass of water, and put it to her lips.

"Rinse your mouth quickly."

After rinsing her mouth, Qiao Xiaoni felt a little weak: "I don't know what happened, I suddenly felt like throwing up."

"Maybe I haven't been resting well lately, let's go to bed early tonight." Su Chenhao's initial thought vanished at that moment.

Qiao Xiaoni nodded. She didn't think about anything else; she had just vomited up the food she had managed to eat. She could only go back to bed and lie down; if she went to sleep early, her stomach wouldn't feel uncomfortable anymore.

Su Chenhao lay outside, while Qiao Xiaoni slept inside as if she were sleeping at home.

Su Chenhao lay down, wanting to speak, but then heard Qiao Xiaoni snoring. She had fallen asleep instantly.

It seems his wife must be exhausted these past few days. He hasn't had much rest either, just closing his eyes to rest and sleep.

Qiao Xiaoni was dreaming. Three dolls were chasing her, and they were having a lot of fun together.

She woke up abruptly, realizing she was hungry.

I checked my watch and only three hours had passed, which meant it was midnight.

"What's wrong?" Su Chenhao rubbed his eyes.

"I'm hungry," Qiao Xiaoni said pitifully. She felt so hungry she could eat a whole cow; she had never been this hungry before.

"What do you want to eat? I'll make it for you." Without saying a word, Su Chenhao pulled back the covers.

Qiao Xiaoni thought about the ingredients she could use at home: "I want to eat noodles, the kind that are thinly and beautifully cut. I'll boil them in a pot and then add a spoonful of meat sauce. It would be absolutely delicious."

"Hmm." Su Chenhao got out of bed, put on his shoes, went to the kitchen, took out a cutting board, and started working. Luckily, he had bought ten pounds of flour yesterday, otherwise he would have had to steal flour in the middle of the night.

He didn't think stealing was shameful; he couldn't let the woman he loved go hungry.
