"Without the materials, your method won't work." Qiao Xiaoni knew that to evade the eyes of those old guys, at least a level nine formation was needed. If the space hadn't been closed, it might have been possible, but in the current situation, even a level three formation couldn't be set up.
"I have a gift for you tonight." Su Chenhao couldn't bear to see her looking so troubled.
"What gift?" Qiao Xiaoni's attention was diverted. They had been together these past few days and had hardly had time to go out and buy anything. What kind of gift had she prepared?
"It's a secret, you'll find out tonight." Su Chenhao was pleased to see that she had become interested.
Qiao Xiaoni raised her hand and slapped his chest: "You bad guy, you've actually learned to keep people in suspense."
"Haha! There won't be any surprise if I tell you now. You'll be even happier when you find out later," Su Chenhao said with a laugh.
Qiao Xiaoni was in a great mood thinking about the wonderful gift she would receive tonight, so she stood up and stretched.
"Then I'll be waiting for your surprise tonight. If you're not satisfied with the gift, you'll be kneeling on a washboard!"
“Okay!” Su Chenhao readily agreed.
Looking at his expression, Qiao Xiaoni couldn't help but wonder what kind of gift it was.
"What are you two talking about? You seem so happy." Tao Chunfang walked over, carrying the child.
"We were talking about gifts. Chenhao wants to give me a big gift. I told him that if he's not satisfied with the gift tonight, he'll have to kneel on a washboard." Qiao Xiaoni wanted to bring her nephew over, but Su Chenhao stopped her. Thinking of her pregnancy, she sat down helplessly.
She hasn't held the baby much since her belly started showing, and it's even less likely she'll hold the baby now. Her belly is now almost the same as a woman who has just given birth, pointed at the navel.
The clothes I was wearing weren't really clothes anymore; they were just a big, oversized sweater pulled over my head. The length was just below my knees... I never imagined I could wear such baggy clothes.
"Sure! I'll be the witness." Tao Chunfang, not wanting to miss out on making things worse, chimed in.
Now that her daughter is in first grade, her life is much easier; she only needs to take care of her son.
"Then it's settled." Qiao Xiaoni picked up the bell on the table and teased her nephew.
Little Qiao Hui was amused and burst into laughter. His chubby little face looked very pretty when he smiled.
Four o'clock in the afternoon.
We all took a car to the restaurant together.
We arrived at the hotel at around 4:30.
To avoid getting sleepy, Qiao Xiaoni took a nap after lunch. She didn't get up until after 3 p.m., so she was full of energy.
Zhou Huang had seen Qiao Xiaoni two months ago, when her belly wasn't this big. Now, looking at her, he was shocked; it was clear she was about to give birth.
"I remember it was still more than two months until my due date."
"Hmm, I'm carrying twins, aren't I?" Qiao Xiaoni looked down at her big belly. This trip out might be the last one before she gives birth.
Zhou Huang then understood what was going on and waved to the waiters in the distance, who all moved away slightly.
Qiao Xiaoni went upstairs surrounded by them.
We booked the largest private room, where the whole family could sit at the big table. The smaller tables next to it were no longer needed and were carried to the next private room by several waiters.
Su Chenqiu: "Brother Boyi said he'll be a little late, saying it's a gift he prepared for his sister-in-law."
"This child, just coming is enough, why prepare a gift?" Qiao Xiaoni sat down.
The waiters brought out fruit platters, herbal tea, and mung bean soup one after another.
