Chapter 167 Yu Jinhua is hospitalized

Lu Yang struggled to carry her into the car, placed her in the passenger seat, fastened her seatbelt, locked the door, and drove to the hospital.

On the way to the hospital, Lu Yang said bluntly, "My name is Lu Yang, and I am the owner of Qingjin Garment Factory. You are a frequent customer of my business. I originally came to deliver a gift, but I didn't expect to run into you who is sick."

"Are you feeling unwell? You look terrible."

Yu Jinhua felt a little better at this point, but said wearily, "I'm just sleepy, exhausted, and can't muster any energy."

Lu Yang thought for a moment and said, "Let the doctor take a look at you. Maybe you ate something bad."

Yu Jinhua instinctively retorted, "I didn't eat anything indiscriminately..."

She suddenly choked up. She had been having a poor appetite lately and hadn't eaten anything except for the two meals a day that Da Liu cooked.

But she grew weaker day by day, and she dared not think about it anymore; the atmosphere in the car was somewhat oppressive.

Lu Yang glanced at her and knew that she must have guessed that it was Da Liu who had done something dirty to her.

After arriving at the hospital, Lu Yang carried Yu Jinhua to register for a doctor's appointment. They underwent a series of tests, including blood and urine tests, because Lu Yang didn't know exactly what Da Liu had done to Yu Jinhua.

It was past four in the afternoon when Lu Yang finally received the lab results. The doctor adjusted his glasses and said, "Her blood concentration is very high. Have you been feeling sleepy, lethargic, fatigued, and slow to react lately?"

Lu Yang turned to look at Yu Jinhua, who nodded quickly: "Yes, yes, I almost fell over when I got up this morning."

"What disease do I have?"

The doctor tapped on the computer and asked, "When did you start feeling unwell?"

Yu Jinhua thought for a moment: "This week, not long."

The doctor shook his head and said, "Why don't you call the police? Your hematopoietic cells and platelets are fine. Your blood concentration couldn't have become like this in such a short time. You must have eaten something wrong."

Yu Jinhua took a deep breath and said, "I want to be hospitalized."

The doctor nodded: "Your condition definitely requires hospitalization. If we let it worsen, it could very well..."

Yu Jinhua wiped away her tears, a cold glint flashing in her eyes, and let Lu Yang help her out of the doctor's office.

"Wait here for a moment, I'll go rent a wheelchair."

"Do you have any trusted relatives? Contact them and ask them to come and take care of you."

Lu Yang asked politely.

Yu Jinhua said with a straight face, "I also have a cousin. I'll call her later."

Lu Yang pushed the wheelchair over and helped Yu Jinhua sit in it. He first borrowed the hospital's phone to contact her aunt before they went to complete the formalities.

Yu Jinhua had no money, so Lu Yang paid all her medical expenses.

After completing all the formalities, she escorted Yu Jinhua to the ward and watched the nurse give her an IV drip before Lu Yang went outside to get food.

He skipped class today to help Yu Jinhua, hoping it would really save her life.

When Lu Yang returned, a slightly plump woman was sitting next to Yu Jinhua. The woman looked about 60% like Yu Jinhua and should be his cousin.

"Mr. Lu, thank you so much. My niece is so heartless; she didn't even know she was sick enough to come to the hospital."

Yu Cuidi looked at Lu Yang with great gratitude.

Lu Yang placed the food on the table and said with a smile, "You don't need to thank me. Sister Yu is one of our big clients, and I don't want anything to happen to her."

Yu Jinhua's complexion is much better than when she was first hospitalized, which should be due to the effects of the IV drip.

She got up and ate, then Lu Yang said goodbye to them and left the hospital.

Two days later, in the afternoon, Lu Yang was inspecting the newly arrived fabrics at the garment factory when Lu Peng suddenly ran over with a happy expression.

"Great news, boss! We've received an invitation to a clothing trade fair."

Lu Yang was a little confused. He had heard of clothing trade fairs in his previous life, but he had to make a living every day, so he didn't have time to go to trade fairs.

So when she was reborn, she never expected there to be a clothing trade fair.

"This is great news, but our brand has only been around for less than six months and sales are just so-so."

"Why would this trade fair specifically send us an invitation?"

Designer Wu, being more experienced, looked at Lu Yang with some confusion.

She felt the only reason was that Lu Yang had obtained the invitation through his connections.

His boss is truly a man of few words; no wonder he's been able to build such a large business at such a young age.

Actually, Lu Yang's blank expression at this moment was because he genuinely didn't know what was going on and didn't know how to deal with it.

After regaining his composure, he reminded him, "This is crucial for us. If we can make a name for ourselves at the trade fair, that will be very important."

"Call everyone to the main conference room for a meeting!"

After saying that, he took the invitation and walked towards the main conference room.

The large conference room used to be a factory building, which was specially renovated and can now accommodate more than 30 people.

In less than ten minutes, all the factory's employees arrived, totaling more than thirty people.

Lu Yang got straight to the point about the invitation: "This matter concerns the future development of our factory. Whether we can take off depends on this. Everyone, give it your all."

"If we can successfully make a name for ourselves at this trade fair, I'll give each of you a 50 yuan raise."

"If you get an order but don't get a single order, I'll give you a 10 yuan raise."

All the employees' eyes lit up; they didn't really care whether the factory was doing well or not.

Most people don't feel a sense of belonging to a factory they've only worked in for a few months.

But a pay rise directly affects each of them, and these people will definitely work very hard to get a pay rise.

Lu Yang said a few more polite words and then asked Yao Lili and the others to work overtime to design styles, hoping to make a splash at the clothing fair a month later.

Lu Yang checked the time; it was already past nine o'clock at night. However, he didn't plan to go back but instead stayed at the garment factory to continue working overtime.

Yao Lili and her team were incredibly enthusiastic, working diligently on the clothing design.

For these three designers, it is a great sense of accomplishment to have their designs recognized and loved by the public.

Lu Yang has been shuttling between the school and the garment factory these past few days, keeping himself extremely busy.

Lu Yao was also busy. He spent four days and finally succeeded in replicating a flower and bird painting by Ju Lian.

He was so exhausted that he almost collapsed. He put down his brush and slumped into his chair with a sigh of relief.

Lu Jianjun cautiously leaned closer and said with a smile, "It's finally finished. As long as you give this painting to him, he won't make things difficult for you anymore, right?"

Lu Yao grinned and sneered, "Unless I become strong enough to be on equal footing with him, he will definitely take advantage of me to the fullest extent."

Lu Jianjun was startled; his pupils dilated in shock.

He rubbed his hands together nervously and said, "Maybe we should run!"
