Lu Yang burst into laughter and grabbed Lu Jianjun's arm.
Lu Jianjun's hand holding the ashtray froze in mid-air, unable to bring himself to smash it down.
Lu Yang shoved him hard, and Lu Jianjun lost his balance and fell back onto the sofa.
Lu Yang stared at him and said, "Didn't you ever think that if I had done all of this, I could have completely controlled their lives and deaths?"
Lu Jianjun fell silent, feeling only a deep sense of fear.
He had never been so shocked by Lu Yang's attitude as he was now.
Unbeknownst to him, Lu Yang had transformed from a weak and vulnerable, penniless youth into a wealthy and ruthless businessman.

Because he underestimated how terrifying Lu Yang was.
