Just as Lan Siqi had expected, her cut was not deep, and the blood on the wound quickly congealed.
She lay on her side on the dressing table and slept for one night.
The next morning, Madam Lan hesitated for a moment, but still came to wake Lan Siqi up.
He knocked on the door for a long time, but she didn't respond.
Lan Siqi was already fully conscious, since she hadn't lost much blood, but naturally she couldn't utter a sound.
Madam Lan, puzzled, pushed open the door and came in.

Lan Chongqi was taken aback for a moment, then he put down his chopsticks and went into Lan Siqi's room with Madam Lan.
Seeing the blood on the ground and Lan Siqi's wounds, he couldn't help but shake his head, then picked Lan Siqi up and carried her out the door.
Mrs. Lan quickly took the money and followed the two to the hospital. Her wound was quickly bandaged, and she was fine.
After confirming that she was alright, Lan Chongqi told Madam Lan and then went to work.
Madam Lan sat by Lan Siqi's bedside, waiting for Lan Siqi to wake up.
Lan Siqi had obviously woken up long ago, but she couldn't wake up that quickly; she had to continue pretending to be dead.
Another hour passed, and she could no longer keep up the act. She slowly opened her eyes, feigning weakness, and called out, "Second Aunt."
Even though Madam Lan didn't have a daughter all these years, she truly treated Lan Siqi as her own daughter.
Seeing her like this now, I felt a pang of heartache. I touched her hair and said with a mix of reproach and fear, "Why did you think of such a thing? Your second uncle was just angry because you were so bold. He'll want you to move out."

Lan Siqi blinked her big eyes and nodded. She didn't think Lan Chongqi would really let this go so easily this time.

After confirming that she was alright, Lan Siqi was discharged from the hospital with the help of Madam Lan.

Lan Siqi's spoiled attitude only displeased Huang Jinghai, who came from a similar background; there was no deep-seated hatred between them.
Lan Siqi didn't waste any words with him and went straight to the point: "Let me remind you, didn't you say that He Yunwei didn't give up on the mall project?"
"You'd better hurry, Lu Yang has already handed over the design drawings to the design company to do."
"If you still can't figure out a way to get this project back, then it'll be too late."
Huang Jinghai had initially intended to tease Lan Siqi, but after hearing Lan Siqi's words, he immediately dropped his playful demeanor.
He asked seriously, "Which architectural design firm did he hire?"
"Grand plan".
Lan Siqi immediately revealed the architectural design company that Lu Yang had mentioned.
Huang Jinghai thought about it and felt that there was something fishy going on.
After all, the Lan family is on Deputy Director Shen's side, and Lu Yang was someone Deputy Director Shen brought in.
Lan Siqi had no reason to go against Lu Yang, so she asked suspiciously, "You're not playing a trick on me, are you?"

Huang Jinghai nodded: "Just keep that in mind. This Lu Yang is not easy to deal with, especially since he has a much wider network of connections in Guangzhou than we do."
He Yunwei's eyes showed apprehension as he said coldly, "I originally thought that the person Deputy Director Shen was looking for would be Li Chen."
"After all, in this provincial capital, the only person left with the strength to challenge me is Li Chen."
"I didn't expect him to actually contact Lu Yang. This kid seems to be very close to Li Chen. I suspect that he and Li Chen had already agreed to run this mall together."
