Chapter Sixty-One: A Fake Ghost Scares a Real Little Ghost

Bai Yiyi laughed so hard she almost fell over: "Tell him when you meet Boss Qu."

The blond-haired man's pupils contracted, and he trembled even more violently.

After all the yellow paper and ingots had burned, Lu Yang stood up and asked, "Where did that Boss Qu hang himself?"

Bai Yiyi pointed inside the factory and said, "It's a crane hanging from the beam of the factory building."

Lu Yang gave Cheng Lin a look, and they knocked all five men unconscious and dragged them into the factory.

They reinforced the ropes binding the five men and gagged them.

Lu Yang thought for a moment, took five bottles of water from the car and put them in the factory, then closed the door and left.

Bai Yiyi quickly led them to the clothing warehouse. After jumping out of the car, she chatted with the person watching over the warehouse.

Ten minutes later, Bai Yiyi ran back and said, "Sixty thousand for one car."

Lu Yang took 10,000, and Qi Kang took 50,000.

After paying, the four of them moved the goods together.

This warehouse not only has clothes, but also shoes and bags. Bai Yiyi urged Lu Yang to buy some bags.

Lu Yang had absolutely no interest in bags; he only looked at the fabric when looking at women's clothing. But after hearing what Bai Yiyi said, he grabbed a whole bag of bags.

They didn't know much about shoes, so they only took two bags of shoes and the rest of their clothes were summer clothes.

Summer has arrived in the cities surrounding Guangzhou, and it's the perfect time to wear summer clothes.

After unloading the goods, the group drove away efficiently. Lu Yang dropped Bai Yiyi off at the street corner and then sped off into the vicinity.

Setting up a stall to sell goods was something Cheng Lin and Lu Yang were very familiar with. Qi Kang was a little at a loss at first, but he quickly got busy with it.

The three of them traveled to four cities before finally clearing out all the goods.

It was five days later when they returned to Guangzhou.

Huang Mao and his four friends woke up on the night Lu Yang and his group left.

They quickly realized that this was a haunted factory, and one of the thugs burst into tears.

The blond-haired man, looking fierce but actually weak, shouted, "What are you crying for?"

"Quickly find a sharp object and cut the rope."

These words reminded the other four thugs, who immediately began searching around.

After Lu Yang left, Bai Yiyi came back again and cleaned the factory. There was nothing there that could cut the rope.

Bai Yiyi even specially saved a portion of rice noodle rolls for them. Huang Mao and his friends searched all over the factory before they could find water and rice noodle rolls.

These people were all starving, so they immediately shared the water and rice noodle rolls.

The factory doors were locked from the outside, and they couldn't open them, so they paced around the factory in a panic.

call--

Huang Mao kept cursing, and just as he was getting into the swing of things, a gust of cold wind suddenly blew in through the broken glass.

His cursing stopped abruptly, and just as he was trembling, a piece of yellow paper flew out from nowhere and hit him in the face.

ah--

The blond-haired man screamed in terror and struggled incessantly.

But he was tied to four people and couldn't escape at all. He was even tripped by the others and fell face-first to the ground.

In less than an hour, the group was terrified, but thankfully, apart from the wind and the yellow paper, nothing else frightening appeared.

Huang Mao huddled in a corner with four thugs, trembling with fear. The dark and desolate factory felt like a wild beast ready to devour its prey.

He didn't want to stay there for even a second, but he dared not disturb the "ghost" in the darkness, so he could only continue to endure it.

Bai Yiyi, who was standing outside the window blowing yellow paper into the factory with a blower, almost burst out laughing.

She glanced at the sky before putting away the blower and the yellow paper, and quietly headed home.

Huang Mao and his gang didn't sleep all night. After dawn, they tried every possible method and finally managed to untie the rope before dark.

They rushed to the window and tried to smash the glass, hoping to break through the iron bars and escape.

But they had no tools and no ability to break the iron fence.

Yellow Hair took off his vest and used it to catch a pee.

They spent a lot of time getting a stick from outside, tied it to their vests, and used it to wring the iron fence.

The veins on his forehead were bulging, but despite his great effort, he couldn't twist it at all.

"Damn it, martial arts dramas are all lies!"

The blond-haired man was so angry that he jumped up and down and continued cursing.

But after only a few curses, his stomach started growling, and he no longer had the strength to curse.

The other four men, unwilling to give up, tried to pry open the iron fence with their vests and sticks, but the fence was as thick as a finger and very sturdy.

They struggled until they were exhausted, and they could only bend the iron fence a little. They knew without even trying that they couldn't squeeze their heads through.

Yellow Hair sat on the ground, took out a cigarette and lit it, his heart filled with fear.

The factory is in a very remote location. Even if they shout themselves hoarse, no one will find them. It's impossible to expect anyone to rescue them.

As darkness fell, the thugs began to break down.

They huddled in the corner, shivering.

"Will he...will he come today?"

One of the thugs asked, his voice trembling with tears.

Another thug yelled, "Shut up!"

Huang Mao closed his eyes. He had just glanced at the time; it was midnight.

call--

A gust of cold wind blew in from outside, scattering the yellow paper wildly throughout the factory.

At the same time, a series of rustling footsteps came from all around, growing louder as if they were drilling into their ears.

"He's here! He's here!"

Two of the thugs completely broke down, burying their heads in their hands and crying loudly.

Huang Mao, however, seemed to have mustered up his courage. He got up shakily and went straight to the window.

Bai Yiyi was genuinely surprised; this blond-haired guy was bolder than she had imagined.

She immediately hid the blower in the grass and shrank into the shadows herself.

Huang Mao walked to the bedside and could only see the yellow paper flying in through the window.

"Bai Yiyi, stop playing the ghost!"

"That guy died in the factory, how could yellow paper have drifted in from outside?"

Bai Yiyi raised an eyebrow, somewhat surprised; she had underestimated Huang Mao's intelligence.

But she didn't say anything. Instead, she used a long pole to slowly move the prepared paper figure, dressed in clothes, out from the corner.

The moment Huang Mao saw the paper figure, his legs went weak and he almost peed himself in fear.

He took two steps back, his pupils dilating in shock.

Bai Yiyi suppressed a laugh and moved the paper figure closer to the window. Once the people in the factory saw the paper figure clearly, they immediately let out a pig-like scream.

After scaring them for two hours, Bai Yiyi climbed over the wall and went home.

Huang Mao and his gang fell to the ground, so frightened they were almost foaming at the mouth. It wasn't until the sunlight shone on them that they came to their senses.

The crybaby rushed to the door and pounded on it with his fists.

"Let me out! Let me out!"

The thug screamed hysterically, almost straining his voice to the point of hoarseness.

The others stared at him blankly, a sense of despair spreading throughout the factory.

The crybaby slammed his fist on the door, slumped down in the doorway, and tears streamed down his face like a broken string of pearls.

Huang Mao tilted his head and glanced at him. In the past, he would have called the other man a sissy, but now he wanted to cry too.
