Guan Xiuqin's expression stiffened, but she immediately retorted, "So what? My children's need for money is only temporary. They'll be able to earn even more after they graduate from university!"
Grandma Lu stared at her: "We all know perfectly well how Lu Yao got his university spot."
Guan Xiuqin paused for a moment, feeling a chill in her heart, and said sharply, "Are you going to use Xiao Yao to threaten me?"
Grandma Lu didn't answer: "I won't ruin my grandson unless it's absolutely necessary, but that depends on your performance!"
Guan Xiuqin took a deep breath, suppressing her anger: "You old bastard, you've always been so selfish!"
Grandma Lu said with a stern face, "He didn't pass the exam in the first place, but you did take that seven thousand yuan. It's your choice whether to give it to him or not!"
"You've made it impossible for me to retire, so I'll make sure you don't have an easy time!"
Guan Xiuqin, unable to contain herself any longer, said, "It was Lu Yang who reported Lu Jianjun. You should go ask your eldest grandson for money!"

Guan Xiuqin cursed the old hag in her heart, but in order to keep Old Madam Lu from getting too full, she obediently did as she was told.

This perfume doesn't smell like usual; instead, it has a pungent, musty smell.
Guan Xiuqin turned on the showerhead, took a sniff, and her face immediately turned green.

She threw the perfume into the trash can, her anger reaching its peak.
