Yuan Mengge glanced at the situation and noticed that one of her classmates was running too slowly and had frantically run into a side alley. Soon after, a thug carrying a knife rushed in.
She weighed the pros and cons and figured that if the kid got caught by that thug in the alley, he'd probably get hurt.
The others who ran still seemed to have energy, but the one who ran into the alley looked exhausted.
Yuan Mengge ran quickly toward that alley.
These three boys being chased were the most troublemakers in the class, commonly known as class bullies.
But it's clear they messed with the wrong people today; they don't know how they provoked these thugs.

The thug was furious when he heard this. He thought that Yuan Mengge, a woman, dared to provoke him like this. If he didn't teach her a lesson, where would he put his face?
So he turned around and walked towards Yuan Mengge, saying to her, "Stay there and don't run away!"
Yuan Mengge replied calmly, "I didn't run away, you're here."
The thug strode angrily toward her, but tucked the knife into his waistband, probably thinking that it wasn't necessary to use a knife to deal with a female student.
When Yuan Mengge saw his action, a cold smile curled at the corner of her lips.
The thug rushed up to her and raised his hand to slap her.
Yuan Mengge quickly grabbed his slapping hand with her other hand, and with a sharp tug on his collar, she turned around and bent over to throw him over her shoulder.
With a "bang," the thug was thrown to the ground, his expression blank.
Yuan Mengge flipped him onto the ground, making him lie face down, pulled out the knife from his waist, and then tapped him on the head with the knife.
"A bunch of trash, thinking they're cool just because they're wielding knives and slashing and killing people in the street?" she said coldly, skillfully tearing off his clothes and tying his hands behind his back.
Then, carrying the knife, he walked towards A-hu's door, banging on it and shouting, "A-hu, come out quickly, I'm leaving."
As soon as A-hu heard her voice, he quickly opened the door a crack and looked out.
Seeing Yuan Mengge standing alone outside, he peeked out and looked around.
Yuan Mengge said irritably, "Alright, hurry up and come out. We still need to find other people."
A-Hu opened the door and came out, looking at her with some curiosity, and asked, "Where's that yakuza thug?"
Yuan Mengge pointed to the thug next to her, whose hands were tied and who was struggling to sit up.
A-Hu breathed a sigh of relief after he was tied up.
Yuan Mengge grabbed him and ran outside: "Let's go! What's wrong with you? Why did you provoke them?"
As Ahu ran, he replied, "We didn't provoke them first; they provoked us first."
"They provoked you first? Why?" Yuan Mengge asked him curiously.
“We were just passing by, and we glanced at them because they had tattoos. Suddenly they started swearing at us, and of course we weren't going to let them get away with it, so we swore back. Then we started arguing... and suddenly they rushed at us and started hitting us…”
As Ahu spoke, he followed Yuan Mengge into the street and asked her, "Where are Abing and the others?"
Yuan Mengge said, "A Bing went to help Liu Yuanfeng, along with the vice class monitor and A Dong."
