Hu Yuanyuan asked her, somewhat puzzled, "But isn't this wrong? Why did you suddenly throw a hornet's nest at Xue'e's house?"
If she threw excrement into the bridal chamber on her wedding day to prevent Li Xue'e and Yuan Dasheng from sharing a room, that's understandable.

As they chatted, they arrived near the Li family's house.
Hu Yuanyuan pointed to the Li family's house and said, "There, there, that's Xue'e's house."
"Let's go around to the back of her house and listen to what they have to say." Yuan Mengge hid her bicycle in the banana grove, locked it, and then took the bag containing the wasp nest and headed around to the back of the Li family's house.
Hu Yuanyuan originally wanted to suggest which way was more convenient, but she quickly realized that Yuan Mengge knew the way without her having to tell her.
Yuan Mengge certainly knew what her maternal grandfather's family was like; she often came back to play when she was little, so she knew.
The two sneaked around to the back of the Li family's house via a side path and hid under the back window of the living room to listen to the conversation inside.
After listening for a while, I could only hear a man's voice; I didn't hear a woman's voice.
I guess Li Xue'e has already gone to the kitchen to help with cooking.
Yuan Mengge gestured to Hu Yuanyuan, saying, "You stay here, I'll go check on the kitchen," and then went to the kitchen herself.

A girl about the same age as Yuan Pingping sat in front of the stove, tending the fire. She didn't have to do anything except make sure the fire in the stove didn't go out.
Li Xue'e was busy in the kitchen, doing this and that, and couldn't stop at all.
This was her usual routine at the Li family home.
Her stepmother liked to make her do chores; out of the five children in the family, she was the only one who was asked to do them.
The main reason is that Li Xue'e is gentle by nature; she will do whatever you ask and she will be patient.
