Before dawn, the area outside the Taohuayu Brigade headquarters was already packed with people.
"I got here first!"
"You're talking nonsense! I've been here since midnight, so you'd better get in line!"

Tiger heard this and his eyes turned red with jealousy.
They're both in their early twenties and cousins, so why is Li Weidong so successful?!
He clenched his fist and made a silent vow in his heart.
He was determined to steal all of Li Weidong's skills and trample him underfoot!
Amidst the noise and commotion, dawn finally broke.
When Li Baotian arrived and saw so many people, he was dumbfounded: "Didn't we say we'd have breakfast first? Why are you all here so early?"
"Have breakfast first, or the queue will stretch all the way to Niujiao'ao!"
Someone shouted something, and everyone burst into laughter.
Li Baotian then realized what was happening and shook his head: "Don't worry, I've already spoken to Weidong. These fifty households are because it's the first time he's brought so many people this year, so the number is smaller. He's testing it out."
"We'll expand next year when we have more experience, so everyone can get rich together and every family can have a share. There's no need to rush."
He then opened the door of the brigade headquarters and called out to everyone, "Don't push, line up in order and wait for Wei Dong to come over."

After hearing his words, everyone became much more obedient and went into the courtyard to wait.

After having breakfast, Shen Xiaoyan took the prepared application form and went out.
Li Weidong asked with some concern, "Sister Xiaoyan, are you alright on your own?"
Zhang Bin went back to the village to tell them about the matter, but he couldn't show up himself, so only Shen Xiaoyan went.
Shen Xiaoyan laughed: "It's no big deal. What kind of storms haven't I weathered?"
"Wait for me to come back!"
When she arrived at the brigade headquarters, she was taken aback by the massive crowd.
Li Baotian recognized her and was taken aback when he saw her coming alone: "Girl, why are you here? Where's Weidong?"
"If Wei Dong isn't coming, I'll take charge of this."
Shen Xiaoyan smiled and said, "Uncle, time is of the essence, let's go inside first!"
Li Baotian nodded quickly, gestured for everyone to make way, and led her into the courtyard.
Most of the villagers had never seen her before, and they were all curious when she walked to the table.
Despite being stared at by hundreds of eyes, Shen Xiaoyan was not intimidated at all.
She picked up the megaphone on the table and said, "Hello everyone, I am Shen Xiaoyan, the deputy general manager of Yimeng Farm. I am in charge of signing this contract."
The crowd erupted in uproar.
Someone couldn't help but mutter, "Why send an old woman to handle something this big? Where's Wei Dong?"
"Why isn't Li Weidong here? We're growing mushrooms under his guidance, so we should definitely sign the contract with him too!"
"Exactly, what do you, a mere woman, know?"
Suddenly, the courtyard became noisy.
Li Baotian slammed his fist on the table several times, but he couldn't sway the crowd.
Shen Xiaoyan, however, remained very calm.
She glanced around and saw the bowl of water on the table. She picked it up and slammed it heavily to the ground.
With a loud clatter, everyone fell silent.
"Are you done? If you're done, it's my turn to speak."
Shen Xiaoyan remained calm: "I will be in charge of signing the contract; Wei Dong will not interfere."
"If you look down on me and are unwilling to sign with me, then the door is behind you. Goodbye!"
What's wrong with women?
Even most men are no match for her, a woman!
Seizing the opportunity, Li Baotian quickly said, "That girl is right. Weren't you all born and raised by women? And you still look down on women!"
"Have you heard of Xiaoyan Restaurant in the city? It's owned by Xiaoyan!"
"If you look down on her, why don't you open a restaurant to improve your image?"
The crowd erupted in uproar.

But no one expected that such a big restaurant was actually run by a woman!
And she's such a beautiful woman!
Immediately, those who had been speaking fell silent, some lowering their heads in shame.
Shen Xiaoyan nodded in satisfaction: "Okay, let's get down to business. I have an application form here, and I'll teach you how to fill it out later. I'll also explain the policies for growing mushrooms in detail."
"After you've heard that, take the application form back, fill it out, and return it. That's it. The contract is now signed. Just go back and wait for our notification."
