"Chirp chirp chirp!"
Before they even arrived at their destination, they heard the joyful cry of the mutated eagle Benlei, as well as the noisy calls of the mutated animals.
Banxia curiously leaned closer: "What are you all doing here?"
Benlei hurriedly stretched out his newly grown large wings to pry the mutated animals apart, grabbed Banxia's arm and dragged her to her nest, where there were five newly hatched chicks!
Looking at the pink little ball of flesh in front of her, Banxia exclaimed in surprise, "It's hatched?"
She thought it would take some time.
Benlei fawned at her, gesturing for her to touch the cub, but Banxia quickly stepped back, saying, "No, no, no, let's wait until it grows up."
She was afraid of damaging it by touching such a small ball.
Silver curiously approached, gently touching it with its paw, its eyes darting around as if it had made up its mind.
Banxia didn't see him. She played with the excited Jinzi and Taozi for two hours before getting up to go back to find Nanxing.
The mutated bear paw wasn't cooked yet, but the room was already filled with an enticing aroma.
The furry creatures strode past Banxia and crowded at the kitchen doorway, drooling as they stared at the pot.
Nanxing brought the prepared dishes to the table: "You're back so soon?"
"Hmm," Banxia glanced into the kitchen as well, "Aren't we having bear paw for lunch?"
Nanxing said with a hint of helplessness, "It will take several more hours to cook before we eat it tonight."
Banxia nodded understandingly: "Oh."
Yinzi glanced at Nanxing a few times, then at Banxia for a while, before taking a tablet from the sofa and having Banxia unlock it.
After Banxia was unlocked, Yinzi thoughtfully tapped on it with its paw.
She looked over curiously and found it was a video of a cat playing with a human baby.
