After typing "The End," I suddenly felt a sense of loss.
This book was serialized from July 24, 2023 to October 31, 2023, exactly one hundred days.
In the beginning, it was purely out of love for the work, and I didn't dare to hope that anyone would read it, so the cover was just an emoji I randomly searched on Baidu.
I am very grateful to the first person to write a paragraph review, the first person to write a book review, the first person to send a gift, and the first person to offer suggestions (I secretly took a screenshot and saved it; it's my source of motivation). Without your encouragement and support, this newbie author probably wouldn't have been able to persevere until now.
The initial motivation for writing this book was to satisfy my hoarding habit and to write about a couple who support each other in times of crisis.
(Hilarious! I never imagined the male lead would become a complete background character later on, nor did I expect the plot to deviate so drastically from the outline.)
I always feel sorry for the fans who follow my updates. The main storyline is chaotic, the plot is clichéd, the main character's personality is not well-developed, the supporting characters are all the same, the writing is verbose and lacks focus, and the ending is rushed. I often doubt what kind of garbage I am writing. I get writer's block every day and have to force myself to write until one or two in the morning, when my eyes can barely see the screen before I finally write four thousand words.
Fortunately, I never lacked motivation along the way, because whenever I felt like I couldn't go on, I could always see familiar names in the comments.
I thought, if people are still persistently following the updates even with a story like this, then I'll persevere a little longer and at least give the story an ending. So I've kept going all this way.
