Banxia even noticed a suspicious glistening substance hanging from its mouth.
This was the first time her daughter had lost her composure because of food!
Are the meats of mutant animals so attractive to their own kind?
She was unusually curious and scooped out a few pieces of golden-yellow oil residue, placing them in a basin to cool.
Two minutes later, Banxia picked up the warm oil residue and fed it to Yinzi.
With a flick of his tongue, Yinzi's eyes immediately lit up with obvious joy.
It glanced at the few remaining bits of fried pork fat in the bowl, meowing sweetly, clearly wanting more.
Banxia simply took the remaining pieces in her hand and fed them to it one by one.
When only one piece remained, Yinzi shook her head and pushed her hand away: "Meow—"
Banxia knew this meant she should eat it herself, and she was touched. She smiled and said, "Don't worry, Yinzi, there's plenty left in the pot!"
Silver looked into the pot with her big, bright green eyes before swallowing the fried pork cracklings in her hand.
Banxia washed her hands, scooped all the oil residue out of the pot, and poured the oil into a heat-resistant glass jar.
Even with ten large pots burning at the same time, it still took Banxia about three hours to render all the fat.
She counted the glass jars neatly arranged on the table: five 10-pound jars, five 5-pound jars, and six 2-pound jars.
A total of 87 catties of lard!
Banxia put everything into her spatial storage, hugged Yinzi's big head and kissed it: "Yinzi is so great!"
Silver swallowed the grease in its mouth, meowed towards the door, and its eyes were full of eager anticipation.
Banxia paused for a moment: "Yinzi still wants to go hunting wild boar in the mountains?"
Silver nuzzled her face: "Meow—"
tasty!
