After Banxia fed the gold and silver to their fill, she pulled Nanxing along to inspect the prey.
Two of the five mutated chickens died, leaving one rooster and two hens.
Three of the six wild boar piglets died, leaving three sow piglets.
Two of the three mutated rabbits died, leaving only one male rabbit.
But their bodies are covered with claw marks and bloody holes of all sizes, and even if they are resilient, they will definitely not survive tonight.
A flash of green light appeared in Banxia's palm, and the injuries on the living creatures were immediately reduced by more than half.
The mutated chicken stretched its neck to snatch someone, but Banxia flicked her wrist, and several vines suddenly sprouted from the ground and wrapped it tightly, not even sparing the mutated pigs and rabbits that were stunned nearby.
Nanxing calmed his racing heart and looked at Banxia hesitantly: "Are you planning to raise my wife?"
Banxia knew what he was worried about and explained, "Tiantian and I can use mental barriers to divide the space into different areas. Without our permission, the mutated animals cannot come out."
Driven by her will, she erected a mental barrier on her face and poked it with Nanxing's hand.
Nanxing's eyes widened slightly: "How amazing!"
Even though there was clear air in front of him, his fingers felt as if they had struck a hard wall.
Banxia waved her hand and removed the barrier again, lest she accidentally bump into it one day.
She fenced off three plots of land, each 1,000 square meters, next to the pasture, and threw in the mutated chickens, mutated wild boars, and mutated rabbits respectively. She also threw in several hundred kilograms of dried pasture that she had previously stored and a bucket of water for each plot.
Mutant animals are highly resilient and do not require careful feeding.
After seeing the mutated pigs tentatively eat, Banxia looked at Nanxing with a smile: "Eating the meat of mutated beasts regularly is good for your health. Once they reproduce and multiply, we won't lack mutated beast meat in the future."
She glanced again at the area with only one mutated rabbit, "I'll go catch a few more mutated rabbits and mutated wild boars tomorrow."
Otherwise, wild boars and rabbits would not be able to reproduce.
True to her word, after breakfast the next day, Banxia told her neighbors and the person across the street, then took the worried Nanxing and rode off on Jinzi and Yinzi.
"vomit--"
Nanxing climbed off Jinzi and, leaning against the rock, vomited profusely.
He used to ride horses a lot when filming movies, and thought riding a dog would be similar. But the dog was several times faster than a horse, and it specifically chose to ride steep cliffs and rocks, almost shaking him to his core.
Banxia, who was a few steps behind, quickly slid off Yinzi, took out a cup of warm water from her space and handed it to Nanxing to rinse his mouth. She then gently patted Jinzi, who looked guilty, and said, "I told you to run slower, you little rascal."
Jinzi let out two pitiful "woof woof" sounds. It just wanted to show off its abilities to its brother, but who knew its brother was so weak!
Banxia, who understood Jinzi's gaze, said: "...You are a mutated beast, and my brother is an ordinary person."
Nanxing, who was rinsing her mouth nearby: ...
So Jinzi thought I was too weak?
He looked at his wife, who was as beautiful as a fairy but could easily lift a cart, and then at Yinzi, who was bored and had broken a stone with one claw. He could only admit that he was indeed very weak!
Banxia stuffed the cup that Nanxing had handed back back into her spatial storage and looked around: "Gold and silver, is this where you caught the mutated animal cubs yesterday?"
She had assumed the two furry creatures were active near Miaomiao Mountain yesterday, and was wondering where so many mutated animals could come from on a mountain that was almost completely bald.
Who knew that the gold and silver had run off to... She thought about it carefully, and realized that the mountain seemed to be called Ning Mountain?
Gold and silver nodded obediently.
They were standing in front of a large lake, which was almost dry, with only a shallow layer of water remaining in the very center.
There were many clear signs of a fight nearby, obviously caused by mutated beasts fighting over water.
Nanxing glanced at the mountains with exposed soil: "The flowers and plants are almost dead, so how come there are still so many wild animals?"
Banxia wasn't too surprised: "Mutant animals hunt each other; their survival skills are much stronger than humans'."
Furthermore, the trees were only "almost" dead, not completely dead.
She pointed to the lake: "I plan to put some food and water around the lake to lure the mutated animals over."
"Honey, I'll help you."
The two cut the beef used to test their supernatural abilities into pieces and threw them on the ground. They then added some water to the pool and entered the space to wait for their prey.
About half an hour later, a brightly colored mutant rooster came over with three hens.
The mutant chicken's first reaction upon seeing the beef was not to run over excitedly and devour it, but rather to look around warily. Only after confirming there was no threat did it tentatively peck at the beef.
The rooster froze for a moment when it tasted the beef.
Banxia even saw a kind of "Damn, this is delicious" emotion in its eyes. She took the opportunity to kill the rooster with a vine whip, and then put the three hens into her space to use as sparring partners for Nanxing and Jinziyinzi.
The mutant hen is about 1.5 meters tall, with a wingspan of up to 2 meters, and its beak and claws gleam with a cold, menacing light.
Silver was the first to pounce on the hen, but the hen was no pushover either; it flapped its wings and tried to fly onto Silver.
The silver rolled on the ground, and with a swift right grab, it tore off a large chunk of meat from the hen's breast.
The hen, in pain, stretched out her sharp beak and was about to fly up to peck at the silver's head.
Silver took a few steps back to dodge, and then, taking advantage of its height, it grabbed the hen by the neck the moment it landed.
Banxia quickly stopped him, saying, "Silver, shut up!"
She also wanted to keep the hen to lay eggs, and then the eggs would hatch into more chickens, and the family line would continue!
