Lu Tu reached the bandits in a few steps and scolded, "Are you all deaf? Who among you is the leader?"
The burly man at the head of the group stepped forward and shouted, "Looks like we've run into a fool today! Brothers, charge!"
After saying that, the burly man raised his knife and slashed at Lü Tu, but Lü Tu easily parried with his own knife. Then, Lü Tu thrust his broadsword diagonally toward the burly man's chest. The burly man had never seen such fast knife skills before.
It was too late to dodge. Driven by a surge of adrenaline, he recklessly endured the stab wound and aimed for Lü Tu's head.
"Huh?" The burly man's reckless fighting style was also beyond Lu Tu's expectations, but he still underestimated Lu Tu's skills. How could a brute like him possibly withstand Lu Tu's hard training day after day for more than ten years?
With a twist of his body, he easily dodged the fatal blow, and plunged the broadsword in his hand deep into the strong man's heart. The strong man's eyes widened, bloodshot, and he slowly fell to the ground.
The bandits behind him were terrified! The battle had lasted only a few breaths, and their skilled leader had been killed! How could they possibly fight back now?
Only then did the bandits realize that the villagers' smiles were mocking their overestimation of their abilities!
Bandits are a bunch of cowards who are afraid of death. If they had any guts, they would have joined the army and fought on the front lines long ago. Who would want to stay in the mountains and do such immoral things?
The bandits, having lost their will to fight, immediately shouted their surrender, threw down all their weapons, and tried to run away.
Lu Tu took out a horn bow from his back and shot the fastest runner to death with one arrow. As the body fell to the ground, Lu Tu shouted, "Anyone who dares to take another step will die!"
The bandits were forced to stop and stand there trembling. They were usually ruthless killers, but when faced with the threat of death, they were more cowardly than anyone else!
"Hero, we were blind to your greatness..." one of them pleaded for mercy when the bowstring vibrated and an arrow pierced his throat.
No one dared to utter another word. They all looked at Lü Tu with terrified eyes. They had never seen such a ruthless person before. They were bandits who ruled the mountains.
In fact, she seemed as naive and inexperienced as a young girl in front of him.
Zhao Liang, standing behind Lü Tu Chong, waved his hand: "Take the weapons away!"
He then approached a bandit and demanded, "Where is your stronghold?"
"It's right on the nearby Milk Mountain."
How many people are in the village?
"There were also seven or eight men and more than thirty women..."
Lu Tu slit his throat with a single stroke, then looked at the other bandit: "Is he right?"
"Yes...we didn't lie to you." Before he could finish speaking, another scream rang out.
Lu Tu asked the question once, leaving behind a corpse. At this point, only one bandit remained.
"Take me to your village!"
"Good...this way, sir."
Lu Tu led half of the villagers to the village, leaving Zhao Liang with the other half to guard the carts and grain.
After winding through the mountain path, we finally arrived at an open area at the top of the mountain, where several thatched huts suddenly appeared before us.
The bandit leading the way trembled as he said, "Hero, this is our mountain stronghold."
Lu Tu glanced at him sideways: "Want to live?"
"think."
"Lure them out one by one; you'd better be quick about it."
The bandit nodded repeatedly: "I will, don't worry, I'll call them out right away."
Behind him, villager Chai Hao asked, "Squad leader, won't he leak the news?"
"It's alright, he just needs to get there."
When the bandits reached the largest thatched hut on the mountaintop, Lü Tu had already made his move!
They quickly moved to the window of the thatched hut to observe; there were seven people inside.
"Eighth Brother, why did you come back alone? Where is the Boss?"
Dad stammered, "The chief sent me back to tell you to go down and help. We've looted a lot of grain this time, enough for us to get through the winter!"
The group exchanged glances and said, "Eighth Brother, don't try to trick us. With your slow legs, why would the Boss send you to deliver a message? I think something must have happened!"
As soon as that man finished speaking, the others angrily asked, "Second-in-command, what do we do now?"
After listening, Lu Tu nodded secretly. This guy wasn't completely stupid. The second-in-command sneered, walked behind Lao Ba, and under Lu Tu's gaze, took out a dagger and stabbed it into Lao Ba's back.
He then wiped the blood off Lao Ba's body and said in a low voice, "What else can we do? Since Lao Ba is back, it means we're no longer safe. We should quickly take our belongings and leave!"
The group exchanged glances, lifted a wooden board, and pulled out a box. As soon as it was opened, the room became much brighter.
Lu Tu, who was spying on them, saw it clearly and couldn't help but be shocked. It was a box of official silver of excellent quality!
The second-in-command and a few others took out bundles and began packing up the silver. At this moment, they did not notice that Lü Tu had already entered the house.
After dispatching the two closest men with two slashes, he was discovered by the second-in-command and his men who were carrying the silver. They were immediately shocked and asked, "Who are you?"
Lu Tu disdainfully raised his knife to strike: "You are not worthy to know!" The second-in-command hurriedly grabbed someone to block him and quickly went to get his knife.
But how could Lu Tu give them a chance to fight back? Swords flashed and clashed in the small room. In less than a minute, all the bandits except for the second-in-command had become victims of his blade.
The second-in-command stared at Lü Tu with a look of horror, retreating until he reached the wall. Only then did he feign composure and say, "I suppose you're also after money. Why don't you take this silver and let me go?"
